I love the West Slope library. I live nearby and have used it for 40 years. What they don't have on hand they can usually get quickly. If I forget my card - never mind - I still can check out my materials. More recently we have used the game checkout - fun for us and our grandchildren. I also attend one of the book groups. And did I mention the wonderful, friendly staff. I know many countries don't even have free libraries. We are so lucky....
Read moreThis is a wonderful little diamond in the rough if you have kids and it's a rainy day. A very small library, has a separate room designated for all the kid books, and it's usually not busy. In the kids area there are also quite a few puzzles, a train set, and sometimes coloring pages to keep kids busy for an hour or so. It is also very close to a park which makes a nice full outing.
