Fast and Furious: Supercharged wasn’t trying to be anything special, and still subverted expectations in the worst possible way. Like many others have been saying, the attraction’s queue is inarguably the best part of this experience by far. It’s fairly well detailed and, even if you don’t particularly care for cars, relatively interesting. However, one thing to note is that the merging of the regular and the virtual queues are extremely poorly designed. This ride appears to have dropped off in popularity to an extreme degree, so much so that there was literally no line between the beginning of the queue and the merging point, rendering the virtual or express lines useless, or worse, longer than the standby. Given the quality of the attraction that you will experience later, the overestimation of Supercharged popularity is inexplicable. Towards the end of the primary queue you will enter a pre-show area, which actually contains two separate pre-shows, followed by more line. I even hesitate to use the word “pre-show”, as this experience is so pointless that it might as well not exist. It sort of sets up the story, but most of the time you are simply staring at a screen where an actor on an artificial video call is talking to you. It’s extremely unengaging, and is made worse by an awkward live actor who stands to the side for the majority of the show, and has almost no lines. Once out of these chambers and through another maze of queue, you board... busses? The ride’s story is bland, confusing, and at times incoherent, but involves some sort of contrived excuse for the ride’s main vehicle: Large, slow party busses that fit the Fast and Furious franchise as well as they sound. The reason behind this is actually simple: the ride system is identical to that of Skull Island: Reign of Kong, another attraction in Islands of Adventure. Already considered a mediocre attraction by most when it opened in 2016, you would have expected the designers of F&F to analyze that attraction’s weaknesses, eliminate them, and play to its biggest strengths. Instead, we got a ride that did the opposite. Taking all the worst aspects of Kong and combining them with some horrible design choices of its own, Fast and Furious becomes, quite literally, the worst ride in Universal Orlando. Universal veterans will be familiar with F&F’s predecessor, Disaster!, a far superior attraction in every possible way. It seems as though the designers of this new ride took that name to heart. Once seated in your vehicle, you’re taken to dark alley where there seems to be a party going on. Already the story seems to fall apart, with a convoluted ordeal involving and FBI agent and a guy named Shaw... whatever does happen, this entire sequence (which turns out to be the majority of the ride) is spent stationary, watching the actors standing around awkwardly a delivering a cheesy, poorly-written script. People in my ride vehicle were already shifting uncomfortably, and some were even beginning to giggle about how ridiculous the whole thing is. Finally, you begin moving again, and wind up in a big room with a screen on either side of you, similar to Kong’s. Like that ride, most in he vehicle will have lots of trouble seeing anything, as the heads of other riders get in the way of your view in one of the most poorly designed ride systems that ever came to a theme park. The screens fail to reach as far up or down as Kong’s screens, and so there is absolutely no immersion at all given that it is apparent at all times you are not moving. The video itself is blurry, poorly rendered, heavily warped, and nonsensical. It’s hard to tell what’s going around you at all; the shaking of the vehicle, which is more annoying than anything, appears to not even be synced up with the action onscreen, and the whole thing becomes a mess. It’s made even worse by random, loud, and highly alarming blasts of fog... And then it’s over. With absolutely no redeeming qualities, this is the only ride I have ever been on that I have felt no wish to...

we have visited this in off season so it was only 20 minutes wait for us. Lucky us :) as people have waited even 2-3 hours for this ride in peak season. not sure why there are bad reviews for this ride, ( Flock Of Sheeps? ) only thing which I don't like it there are so many people in one party bus and you can't see what going on the left side. I got the 2nd last row and still, I enjoyed it thoroughly. front seat would be awesome I guess. and yes it was hardly 2 minutes ride. I was looking for more otherwise it was awesome.
The build-up and cars on show at the start of the ride and during the queuing section are good. The decor inside and outside while waiting in the queue was amazing and had great details. I think it really hypes you up for the ride. it makes it fun with the music and the garage make it seem so real. You get to see some of the characters from the movies at the beginning of the ride. they call each other and talk about the heist and FBI raid.
During the actual "ride" part of the ride, it looked like I was watching a cutscene from Grand Theft Auto V, only not as well done. I kinda chuckled when I saw a tiny helicopter with Vin Diesel hanging and jumping from a moving truck onto an unmanned drone that's shooting missiles at our tram. The high adventure part of the ride lasts like 30 seconds. you will feel the fire heat. You get squirt by water no matter where you sit. The "chase" scene is where you will need your 3D glass. Only some of the characters appear on the ride, Tyreese, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Dwayne Johnson. Right now, they have many of the cars from the movie on display in the middle of the park.
after exit, you 'll see more cars used in the movie. it was wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed...

I was so excited to see this ride coming and it was the biggest let down. For a ride built in 2018 they could have come up with something far better. Taking simulators as far as they can go, shoving as many people into one room at a time just messed up the experience. How old is Spider-Man? At least 15 Years, way better!!! Every other simulator ride in that park is far better. It’s just like King Kong but not 3D, shorter, and just stupid. I would have expected it to be one of the best thrill rides yet, whoever designed that ride needs to be fired, what a let down, I’m sorry for the terrible review but dont waste money on crappy designed rides. Maybe if it didn’t have the fast and furious name you could get a way with a kidy ride like that. I immediately went on Simpson’s to show my friends who had never been to universal what a good simulator felt like, again technology that’s over 15 years old, If I was the franchise I would be disappointed the movie got represented this way as a ride. Stop with the herds of people on these crappy carts that you can’t see a thing from. They suck. I thought King Kong was annoying with the herds of people, but at least the story and ride sorta go together. Take a lesson from your older simulators, or better yet, how about a plain old thrill ride on a track called roller coaster what a novel idea. Do yourself a favor and dismantle that ride or rebrand it something else so people can have low...
