A terrible experience with the office manager. Name Tina. I have 5 cats ..2 indoor and 3 of my ferrel cats have been taking care for the good doctor Mansour. I have NO complain about the doctor. He was great and very professional with my cats. on one of this visits when I bring one of my ferrel cats ( how I have to catch up in order to be fixed and vaccine) the office manager DO NOT want to take the cat because I have not an appointment. I explained the situation and how difficult it's to catch it . But she insisted that can't take the cat.. thank God Dr. Mansour pass by at that moment and allow to take care of this cat. This was my first BAD experience with this "office manager" Last Saturda, 11am, after a terrible nigth with one of my indoor cats. We decided to take this very ill cat to the Michigan Animal hospital. When we get there this Lady name Tina " office manager" Do Not want to take my very sic cat to the doctor. Because this cat wasn't a patient. I explained that that cat is a new patient but I am client (Dr. Mansour have take care fo three of my 5 cats)..and this was an EMERGENCY. She says "we take emergencies just till 10a.m and she told us to go to an EMERGENCY Clinic. There where 4 or 5 patients and there pets on the waiting area.. nobody can believe what this incompationate office manager was doing to us. Unfortunately we like the doctor in this animal hospital but this lady name Tina it's impossible to work with. Today after going to another clinic and expedine $500 on x-rays and blood work. We called to make and appointment to get a second opinion and we couldn't make an appointment until we fax and reecords. Conclusion we can not make an appointment. She still refused to take care of my cats. So sorry Dr. Mansour but you just lost 5 patients thanks to your incompationate Be@#$ gate keeper. Won't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSave your money and go elsewhere. Staff is overall nice, hence why I gave two stars instead of one. However, I went in on three different occasions spread out across 8 months for my dog who had an open wound on her leg that seemed to only grow with time and would never heal. I asked numerous times if the plate and nails in her leg could be attributing to the wound issues on her leg and both vets that I saw here swore that it was a sensitive skin issue. The first vet gave me allergy pills and a medicated shampoo despite me telling him on the third visit that the wounds only seemed to be growing and spreading across her leg. They refused to do X-rays and refused to even consider the possibility. After one visit at an different animal hospital, the vet took an xray and was able to determine the plate and nails were the root cause of her wounds. Whatās more frustrating is that we saw two different vets here and neither would listen to my concerns. The female vet saw me on the second visit and did not even know anything about my dog or what was going on when she walked into the room. I had to explain everything that had happened and even had to give her the run down of what her co-worker (the other vet) had already tried. Do they not write notes in their files? Because she literally told me āshe had no idea what was going onā and that the male vet had not left any information for her. So then, why was she seeing me??? Why arenāt they communicating if they are going to take appointments for each other? Unorganized and uninformed vets to say...

Took her there for an initial visit and the doctor recommended that she have surgery to remove two molars that had severe tooth abscesses. After this initial visit, I took her back to Banfield to run tests to see whether or not she could even be put down. Banfield only charged me for more and more tests and mixed my pet up with other pets and basically was just very unprofessional and didnāt seem to care about my pets at all. After I got her on an expensive prescription diet to help with her kidneys. By the time I went to take her back to Michigan Street, I was informed that the doctor no longer felt ācomfortableā performing the surgery because I went to Banfield to run tests, where my pet is covered by an expensive health insurance plan and most of the tests are covered. It just makes me sad to see a doctor and veterinarian who is supposed to act in a professional manner deny my pet the care she needs due to childish pride in not wanting me to take my pet anywhere else. I thought Michigan Street Animal Hospital was different from the big Banfield in that they didnāt care about the money but the actual well being of my pet but I guess not. Just very sad to see a professional doctor act so unprofessional and simply become...
