First, the dinners are great. They’re quick, easy to warm up, and worth the money. They taste good, are balanced meals, and feel healthier overall. However, the breakfast options are a different story, especially if you’re trying to meal prep or count calories, which I am. If you’re microwaving the food (not air frying), most of the breakfasts aren’t great. For example, the quesadillas and burritos don’t reheat well in the microwave. They come out mushy, fall apart, or have cold spots, making them unappetizing. I’ve also noticed inconsistencies in portion sizes. Last week, I had fewer eggs, and this week I got way more eggs, which makes me question if the calories listed are accurate. The seasoning has also been inconsistent; last week’s eggs were saltier than this week’s, even though I ordered the same item. When I started ordering, I thought there might be one person cooking the meals, but it turns out they have a whole team, which is fine. However, this raises questions about quality control and whether portions are measured correctly. Another downside is the ordering system. I love the dinners, but they don’t let you order just five dinners you have to order 10 items minimum, which doesn’t make sense if you only want dinners. I wish they’d let you order just the meals you want. When picking up my meals, they’re given to me in a brown bag. This is my second week, and before entering my apartment, the bag broke. Thankfully, the containers didn’t open, but the bag is extremely weak. Anything frozen or cold makes the bottom of the bag break. I wish they had a better bag system because it’s frustrating. Even though I’m being as delicate as possible, it still breaks. Lastly, customer service is disappointing. They have a number you can text, but I’ve sent messages weeks ago and still haven’t gotten a response. Emails take days to get a reply, which makes it seem like they don’t have a dedicated team managing customer inquiries. A company should respond within 24 hours, especially when they’re selling a product. Overall, I’d rate this service a three out of five. The dinners are worth it they’re tasty, balanced, and convenient. However, the breakfast options are not great if you’re microwaving, the lack of customer service is frustrating, and the bags they use for pickup are far too weak. If they improve these areas, it would make the service much better.

This is a great meal prep service. For a while I had been looking for a meal prep service that was health but also wouldn’t break the bank. Mr. Meal offers a great selection of meals and a really really good price per meal cost. The meals are slightly on the smaller side but when considering the cost and how two of these meals can cost the same as one meal at other places, it’s definitely a good deal. The meals themselves are healthy and feel home cooked. You can also find the nutritional value on their website! Pick up the meals is quick and easy and they even offer an delivery option.

Let me just say the meals were cold obviously at drop off but I could smell the seasoning as soon as I opened them all. The portions are perfect and I really didn’t expect the quality. I love to cook but drive to Tampa from Orlando every weekend and work 4x10s so im super busy. I’ve had meal prep before but it was just too bland. Def worth the try flavors 10/10. IF YOURE ABOUT YOUR SEASONING like I am do not search any farther. This is it.

I've been ordering meals from them and getting them delivered for the past 3-4 months. I usually get 10 meals and delivery for $10, for a total of around $75. The person who delivers your order messages you when they'll be arriving with your order. Your entire order comes in a paper bag with nothing else, so if you aren't home to pick up your delivered meal in time then it might go bad. I like their pasta and rice meals, their pasta meals are usually packed to the fullest. I used to keep all my meals for the week refrigerated but towards the end of the week some of the vegetables or chicken would start to smell bad or look unappetizing. Now I freeze all my meals for the week and keep 2-4 meals in the fridge. I personally don't like any of their meals with shredded chicken or chicken breast because they usually taste plain/bland, and I don't recommend their smoothies because it's literally just a small container half filled with the fruits that you have to blend yourself. I got 2 orders of the strawberry banana and they didn't look that fresh, I had to make one big smoothie with them or else they looked like they would've gone bad within the next day. Some of their meals are packed fully and some are practically a quarter or half empty, but I guess that's the portion size for the type of meal. I got the tomato meatballs that come with mashed potatoes, but it's only 2 meatballs that are huge and barely enough mashed potatoes with them, there was still enough room in the container to fit an entire bread roll. I've tried out their breakfast meals and they're alright. I feel like they could add more pancakes to their meals and more sides since you practically only get 3-5 small berries in a small cup. Otherwise, they're probably the best and cheapest option for a meal prep...

The pricing and value you're getting here is great. Meals come on time if you do delivery and the meals are low calories but also fills you for the most part.

The 3 star rating is simply because I've been long time customer of this place. I unfortunately feel that after a little while, the meals feel really repetitive. There's also certain meals I straight up dislike because they lack originality.

Stuff like their Orange Chicken. It tastes decent, but how come they don't cut it up and/or bread it to make it look like orange chicken? That would help with the lack of variety. Their beef dishes also always taste exactly the same.

It feels like there's only 1 or 2 chefs there that do the cooking each week with the same seasoning and same recipes each time. I really wish they would change it up, fry some chicken every once and a whole, add some breading, use a different seasoning choice- even if it means adding a few...
