The Olympic pool is amazing (50m) & they also have a smaller rec pool (25y). I’ve been swimming here for 4+ years now. Honestly the lane reservation system is super annoying (everyone thinks this as well so I’m not alone) and they often have pool closures for events for a few days at a time which can be frustrating. However - the facilities and location are amazing!

Splash Pad does not work properly. We and an other family were not allowed to swim on the laps (more than 10 free laps...and I don't count the second pool because I understand that they only can observe one pool with 3-4 lifeguards), A third family were allowed!? My children swim better than this child.

Very small swimming area unless you are doing laps. It really isn't designed for family swimming. It is more designed for competition swimming. It is clean and nice. My rating is based on a place to take my family not competition swimming or swimming laps.

We celebrated our sons 2nd Birthday here on Saturday. When we checked out the Aquatic Center for the first time I was at awed with everyone we came in contact with and how nicely they treated us. (We pre-booked three months in advance so we’ve been looking forward to it since then) Upon arrival we were greeted and I asked the gentleman in the front if the room was ready and he said he would check on it for us. After a few min (1:32pm) I asked if we could head back and he shook his head yes. (We were told we could arrive 30min prior to set up/decorate) when we arrived in the room I noticed that the room wasn’t completely cleaned up and trashes were over flowing from the pervious party before us but I didn’t make a fuss of it because we wanted to make sure we were ready for our guest that would be arriving shortly. From 1:32-2:15 not once did anyone come in and check on us or communicate with us about anything! As our guest arrived and the kids were excited they began to head out to the pool/splash pad when a lifeguard came out of the room next door literally yelling at the kids to “get back in that room now!” I was shocked and stepped out of the room and asked why she was yelling and what was going on and she said “pools closed!” Then walked away extremely frustrated at this point someone from the front came walking toward me and asked if anyone had come to talk to us yet, I let her know that no one had said anything and her exact words to me were “due to weather we need to close. If your party doesn’t resume by 2:30 then we’ll work out some type of discount, but for now all kids will need to remain in the room” which cool! Totally understandable! As time went on the kids got antsy we took it upon ourselves to take all the kids outside of the Aquatic Center and let them play at the playground. By 3:15 still no one had come and said a single thing so I went back into the center to ask what the status was and a lifeguard said 3:30 so I let our guest know that we could head in shortly. At about 3:30 we headed back into our room and waited for someone to come in and let us know we were in the clear to get in the water. Still nothing! At 3:45 I poked my head out and asked if the kids could finally get in the water and the lifeguard standing there just shook his head yes and walked away. It was a bummer and a waste of money because our actual water time was only for about 45 minutes because we still needed to do cake and gifts and they told us we needed to be out by 5pm because that’s the time they close completely. We cleaned out the room and were done by 4:45pm and when I went to “check out” with the front desk to ask about the “discount/refund” everything was closed down. Front desk and all and all the lifeguards went straight to their room and when we walked by they acted as if they didn’t see us but yet we’re quick to holler from the door if they saw something they didn’t like. Very unfortunate and disappointing! We will not...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My dad, fiancé, 3 of my nephews and myself went to have a good time. Got to the window paid and realized we forgot our floaty so I asked the people in the office if it was ok if we went inside and my dad go get the floaty out of the car and they said yes. So my dad walls back to the car to grab them before meeting us inside. After 30 minutes of us being there a lifeguard walked up to my nephew and told him he couldn’t have his floaty ring in the pool. My fiancé asked why and they said no floaty ring in the pool. My fiancé expressed that my nephew was autistic and the floaty ring was the only way he would feel comfortable getting in the pool to have a good time. They didn’t accept so we took it off and put arm floaty on him and he just stayed on the steps or up to his waist ( he is tall for his age). While I took my other nephew deeper into the pool another lifeguard came about 10 minutes later walked up to my nephew saying he had to get out of the pool because he was not aloud to have arm floaty in the pool. My nephew looked back sad and confused because he couldn’t have his floaty. We asked him respectfully that it is not appropriate to walk up to a child but to the parent or adult present. We tried to express again he is autistic he is scared of large bodies of water and won’t enjoy himself and will sit out without the arm floaty. They said they would ask the manager. They all came out and none of them spoke to me or my fiancé instead just watched us. We felt so uncomfortable embarrassed and not welcomed as all the other parents in the pool around us said it was not fair and watched us have to get ourselves and children out the pool. After I got out the pool with my nephews I walked up to the manager and asked if we could have a refund because we had just gotten there and she said to me “ You can take that up with the office” I gathered my nephews and my things and started to walk out towards the office. Right when I got to the window the lady up front asked me “ Was it the floaty ? “ as she had my refund sliding it towards me. Then she asked if I would like my money back or tickets to come another time. I requested my refund and she said “So sorry”. This was so embarrassing and heartbreaking and I really didn’t appreciate being treated so poorly. Hopefully rules are changed to fit in...

So initially my family and I were very excited to come up here because we just found out that the Marana waterpark was no longer open. The website does not state that there’s any fees to enter the pool. The gentleman behind the window was very rude. He had no customer service skills whatsoever. We overlooked that paid the fee and came in to have a good time. My daughter and I went down the slide several times super fun. The lifeguard on duty was Patient with the children, efficient with keeping the children moving and respectful. Then the lifeguard switched. Upon the switching of the lifeguards the new lifeguard is initiating all kinds of rules that were not given to us upon arrival. He’s yelling at me that I need to takeoff my sunglasses and my visor because I’m going to scratch the slide. I showed him by shaking my head vigorously that my sunglasses were secured and couldn’t see how this is suddenly a problem as we’ve gone down the slide several times and it was not made an issue by the other lifeguard. I mentioned that I wasn’t informed of this being a rule or an issue... He didn’t seem to care that there is no consistency or structure in his supervision. He had the slide completely backed up. He then said if I go down again I have to takeoff my sunglasses, and fanned me away.. Then my daughter decide she wants to step her feet into the side of the pool that’s not being used for anything whatsoever.. no signs indicating that they cannot go in there.. this same lifeguard comes out of nowhere and tells us we can’t swim here that we have to be part of some program to be here and we need to go to the free area which I found super comical as we had to pay to get in … I almost feel like we were targeted directly by this young man. As he literally came out of nowhere to scold us once again and then disappeared into the dark little office as he shook his head with discontent. Now all that being said, it’s very pretty here there’s lots for the kids to do and they even have a play area just outside of the pool area which does not seem to cost a fee to utilize. I strongly feel if they’re going to have rules that are so specific in place that they need to have them announced when you...
