A great dog friendly beach where the sand is more dark and corse, which we liked! Definitely a unique beach! The weather can be volatile depending on the season so be sure to bring layers, especially with the wind! Also, the pier is right next to the beach and you can go out and watch sea lions and the waves on the pier!

The waves are huge. Black sand & lots of big rocks. Very peaceful. 1st time visit on a Monday afternoon & not crowded at all. Parking was easy & close to beach. Pier is beautiful. Picnic tables & bench areas. Lots of birds & seagulls. Walking trails lead...
