Palmerton Borough Park — Attraction in Palmerton

I moved to the Lehighton Pa area in 2004 and recently have been attending different events in the area. Last night was my first time to Palmerton Park, and what a great event they provide with the festival. A lot of great local companies and organizations getting together to provide some excellent free entertainment.

It clearly demonstrates we have caring and giving companies, and organizations in our local area who want to give back to the community they are part of. I thank the Lord for the individuals who tirelessly volunteer, prepare, plan, organize, and manage these events for the public.

What a beautiful park! It has paths to walk on, grass for the children to play on, lots of trees, and plenty of benches to sit and relax. I went to listen to the Palmerton Community Band. A large gazebo was built in the park just so the band would have a place to play. The Community Band performs there a few times each summer and their concerns are free. It's the perfect size park to do a lot , but so little was done , for the Christmas Tree festival they should line the paths throughout the park with the trees instead of a few here a few there some in the one corner and none in the other , they were completely spaced out to much . It's a nice park and would look so much better for Christmas if designed and decorated differently. I would even be willing to help set it up next year if possible. But nonetheless I like the park and I even took a few awesome Aerial shots...
