Palmerton Pub & Steakhouse — Restaurant in Palmerton

We ordered takeout. Used to frequent this establishment when the previous owners had it and wanted to try it now that it changed hands. Food was good overall. Only a couple gripes. The portion size of the chicken marsala was rather small for the price, the noodles tasted amazing though. Upon arrival they informed us they had no salad which was supposed to come with that dish. No biggie but we didn't get bread either which was advertised to come with the dinner. We ordered blue cheese on the side with our salad. We also ordered wings with blue cheese which apparently doesn't automatically come with a sauce like most places do. So we were charged extra for the Itty bitty side of blue cheese for the wings even though we didn't get our salad with that same side of blue cheese. Wings were awesome, def recommend(got honey mustard). But I feel like since they had no salad or bread, at least take something off the bill or at least not charge the dipping sauce for the wings. The soft pretzel we got was just okay. It was very hard and burnt all along the bottom.. Very little cheese sauce to dip in. We spent $50 on 3 items and that wouldn't have been so terrible if we had gotten everything...

First time here and we will not be back! We arrived at 6pm. We were told there was a 30min wait. We were seated within 15min which was the only good part of our night. We placed our order and asked for our pretzel to come out as an app. We waited over an hour for our pretzel! Then our pretzel came out with our entrees which were not even hot. The fries were cold. We asked for ketchup as ours on the table was empty. We were handed another EMPTY ketchup. We asked a THIRD time for another ketchup. And guess what, THAT KETCHUP WAS EMPTY! We ate our entire meal without a beverage. Never once received an apology from a manager or waitress. I asked for the pretzel to be taken off our meal. The manager called the owner and the owner told them to take half off. We were told the entire time that they were busy. THAT IS NOT AN EXCUSE! We were seated AFTER their dinner rush and I counted 3 different people that got their food, and left prior to us. We wasted 3 HOURS at this establishment. My friend and I work in the service industry and this is UNACCEPTABLE! Also, our bill was $170 which was not even worth it!!!! Jeff and Karina, you lost our business and I will let others know as...

Unfortunately, this is our second bad experience here. Last time was months ago. We decided to give them another try tonight since they reopened, and it was not any better.

We got sat before 6:30. It is now almost 9:00 and we are still waiting for a box and the bill. We waited an hour and a half for food, and our appetizer came at the same time as our sandwiches. We never got an apology or explanation for the wait. We asked for ketchup, and kept having to ask for more because we kept being given empty bottles. Our drinks went empty for most of our meal once the food finally showed up. Service was absolutely terrible here. The fact that nobody ever apologized for it made it even worse. We asked for some sort of compensation and we got a bunch of excuses and half off the appetizer that came the same time as our meal. We brought our best friends here hoping for a nice night.
