I stumbled on this on accident, I was taking a day trip to markers and landmarks I had already planned out, I saw the name "Palmetto Historical Park", but didn't expect it to be a collection of old buildings. I'm glad I came across it, unfortunately I must have come on a day they weren't running any tours, but it was very interesting to walk to each building and read the small history on each. I also like how the whole area is adorned with different flowers and plants, as well as educational...

You can easily miss this while driving around Palmetto or to Sutton Park. It's worth it to spend at least 30 minutes here to walk around the small area to learn a bit about the history. Very similar to Manatee Village...
