Very clean, well stocked, great bogo sales. Good sales on meats and everything else in the store. The workers are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied with the store. As I first got there, there was a man filling up produce and the first thing he said was, Good afternoon. I was a little surprised, most store you go into, the store workers usually don't even look at you, no less great you so nicely. I had not been to this store before, but, the everyone was a happy worker and when I asked for an item that was not on the shelf, the man went into the cooler and brought the items out that I needed, another worker was nice enough, when I asked him about the bogo vitamins, there was only one bottle of what I needed on the shelf, I asked if there were more in the back? He said, unfortunately, we won't be getting anything in until tomorrow. He said, if you want to take just the one bottle, tell them, Kyle said to charge you half price. I thanked him and asked him if he could really that? He said, Sure, and if anyone gives you a hard time, tell them Kyle said it's ok. So of course, I took it, but, I didn't want to get him in trouble and paid the full price. On the way out, the cashier was brand new, 3 days on training. I asked her if she thought the best part of working there was the rest of the staff she was working with? She of course said, Yes! I found everyone to be very nice, helpful and the store was very clean and well stocked. Plus, they also suggested rain checks for items I couldn't get, other...
Read moreSo we just moved to the area. We are big Winn Dixie fans from our previous city. Our first trip into this Winn Dixie was not good. The young ladies at the registers were not happy to be there, not happy to serve anyone, they were pretty miserable. My wife and I both came in with big smiles and we tried to crack a few jokes and smile through the whole thing but we got nothing. "How are you?" "Okay". That's pretty much how it went and it didn't get better. It was such a big difference than our old Winn Dixie that my wife and I felt shocked to see how different of an experience it was moving to this small town of Palmetto.
But, our second time coming into this store, we were walking up and down the isles and the sweetest man stocking shelves suggested that we should get our 3 little boys to the bakery for some sweet treats for free while we shopped (we already know about this from our old Winn Dixie). And he wanted our boys to have a cookie so badly that he walked us all the way to the bakery and went in the back looking for someone to serve us, and came right out with a lady to give our boys some cookies. What a nice guy you are Mr. James. You're going to make our shopping experience so worth it now, and most importantly you've given us hope that excellent customer service is not dead in that store! We'll be seeing you about once a week! ...
Read moreThe pharmacy tech and pharmacist were so rude. Neither could gelp me with coupons. I dropped of my rx and they had my phone number. There was a mistake from my other pharmacy. While I understand precautions on narcotics I do not understand why they could not pick up the phone and call me and it had not been for my Pharmacy being open till 6 I would be in the hospital right now. I feel I was treated like an ingrate and a drug addict and I will never buy one thing from Winn-Dixie ever again based on this one experience. And my Pharmacy was able to help me with no question no problems. I'd like to note that they got irritated that a line had formed behind and they both became very irritated rushed me out the door and threw a piece of paper at me with the discounts they also informed me that Publix would not honor any of the information my doctor had given me per conversation the day they will also be holding those prescriptions for me instead and I will be passing the word along via Facebook social media email word-of-mouth and and making sure that everyone knows that the Palmetto Pharmacy and Winn-Dixie are not...
