A tall blond lady, I believe she is the owner, is selfish and most of the time she doesn’t greet any one. I just had a accident not too long ago where a staff member at the front door did not allow me at the store. Thinking he was brave enough. As soon as I called the owner, she spoke to him, came back to her phone, and took on his side by saying “ that I had respected one of their workers.” I’m very mad how I didn’t get more details on my accusation; they accuse me with out an explanation. They guy at the door not only did confront me but he also didn’t had owner’s authorization to not allowed me at the store . I also try to explain what I did wrong cuz I didn’t remember, Emel replied by saying “ we do remember “. Less than 10 seconds you didn’t know what he had done. Oh, obviously, regarding what I had done, I obviously didn’t do anything thing to him. So, I wonder how u came up saying “ we remember.” So, if you didn’t know what had happened less than 10 seconds ago you obviously didn’t know why he react that way. It may be cuz ur busy in your office. How I know I seen u there.. I got eyes and intuition. It takes less common sense to figure out u didn’t k know what was around u less than 10 second ago.I guess you choose your workers over your costumers and what’s worst you allow a staff to confront a costumer at the front door. If I had to go back in time I would not apologize to who ever I offended at least not in front off you. Since most of Palo Alto is aware by now that your not such a nice person( Emel) regarding what you sound to be on social media. Well, that’s another story. Palo Alto, we aware of your behavior because the staff at the store are un...

This review is specifically for the bakery. We've loved everything we've gotten, but especially the: - Almond croissants, rich, satisfying and large, these indulgences are great for brunch or dessert. There's plenty of sweet almond paste, which is more American than French, and never disappointing. - Toasted Almond Cake, which is a specialty in this region. Classic white cake filled and iced with Bavarian cream and surrounded by candied toasted almonds, it's not overly sweet and manages to be rich without being too much. If you're a fan of toasted almonds, this is perfect for you. This will become a standard for special occasions with us. - Buche de Noel for the winter holidays was a huge confection that fed many people. It was chocolate with a thin layer of raspberry and fudge filling, plus iced in a delicious fudge and decorated for the holiday season in a merry, kitschy way. Really satisfying dessert with after dinner coffee. - Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake, which we asked for with special order pink buttercream rosettes all over for an additional modest fee. It was a four layer delight of rich chocolate with fudge-filled frosting between layers. The buttercream frosting in the rosette design was a tasty contrast to the chocolate. I can't say enough about how delighted we were with this gorgeous dessert. The service has been very good, with the staff offering good suggestions. This has been extra nice during Covid, which is hard in them, too. They're flexible, friendly and knowledgeable. Extra kudos to Christina for her feedback, help, warmth, professionalism and great ideas. You can email orders or call them in. We are lucky to have such a quality bakery...

I do not live in the area and was tasked with ordering food for my daughter's baby shower. After considerable research, I decided to try The Market at Edgewood because they offer platters of the types of food we were looking for. I ordered the Market Grazing Board, Mediterranean Mezze Platter, Fresh Fruit Platter, Market Pinwheel Platter, Dips and Spreads Platter, Baguette and Crackers Platter and coffee. Working with Davis was easy; he offered guidelines on choices and graciously accommodated a special request for delivery. The food arrived on time; the platters were so fresh and artfully arranged. Our guests raved about the food, and I don't remember ever having a fruit platter that was as delectable as the one we ordered! You know your event is a success when there are few leftovers, and even the baguettes went home on request. Delicious!!!!! I am so pleased with this business, and I can absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for catering options. I regret not taking pictures; the food line began so quickly that I didn't...

I come here quite often since it's so close to where I live now. They make such great sandwiches here. I often get a turkey club ordered only the most annoying pickiest ways possible, but wow it's great. You can order via this little long form you fill out with those tiny half pencils, leave it in a tray, and come back in a few to pick up your sandwich. Or you can just ask them to make it. Super friendly and helpful staff. I said put mayo and spicy mustard on, and look at that mayo squeezing out the top of the little ciabbatta-hole (it's delicious) The taste of the sandwich made me want to stop mid meal and post about it to commend them

Love the sandwiches at the deli! Walkable from my house, glad this opened up! edited two years later to add that they made me cupcakes for a Denver-themed going away party! I asked for "peaked cupcakes with white frosting that I can make look like the Rocky Mountains." They put little wafers on the cupcakes to help make the peak, which was a nice touch since you're not biting into 100% frosting when you eat the peak. As you can see from the photos, me and my buddies added our own cupcake toppers and put them on a tiered wooden mountain, and thus Cupcake Mountain was born! (photos credit: Pro Bono Photos)

We were super excited to go here, but walked out immediately after going in. There was a super loud 15khz screaming coming from either the light ballast or something in the store, making my blood boil. The spectrum analyzer had it at -18dB, which would be equivalent in annoyance to someone screaming in your ear. Now, most people can't hear this particularly well, but I will not be shopping here anymore due to this issue. On top of this, their prices aren't any better than whole foods, so definitely f- in my book.
