
What you see there is all that structure ever was except for a few rocks that were stolen. That structure is only a started attempt to rebuild that was never finished. The grand vision on the wooden sprawling structure that was Bells Tavern and it's magnificent orchard will never be seen by human eyes again. Sadly to say it burnt many years ago.    Read moreThis is a beautiful well maintained park. The park is run and maintained by the city, they do not allow metal detecting which is sad for those of us wishing to preserve history. They have the right to prevent metal detecting, but the explanation I was given by the city's mayor was very contradicting. Considering that the park itself was built on this historical site. It is my opinion that it was desecration to put the park itself on the site. It separates the tavern from the grave site of the original tavern owners. Still a awsome place...
