Canine Cove at South County Regional Park — Attraction in Parkland

This dog park I’m giving it three stars because it’s a very nice park and it has three different dog parks for small, medium and large . The people that come here aren’t very friendly this is boca for you even though it says Delray is closer to boca . Also they aren’t very organize when they have activities . They have too many activities and they aren’t accommodating to the cars that are passing by . They had a marathon and it was a mission trying to get in the park with a bunch of pedestrians everywhere. They didn’t even have someone directing traffic and when we tried to leave they made us go around so yeah not too organize . I mean if you’re gonna have any type of event just close the dog park or do something where you also help those who are just trying to bring their dogs to the park and not just think of the events because you’re trying to make money. I do not recommend coming on weekends is usually over crowded or with unplanned events and...

We went there last weekend for the first time. Our puppy enjoyed meeting with other pups. However, as we enter the 15-20 lbs section, I noticed an older woman who seems loud hanging out with a group of people in the shed. We stayed away from the shed but my puppy plays along with other dogs so, he tends to go where the group were. My puppy almost peeped on her leg, but the lady next to her was able to stop him from doing so, yelling at me "is this your dog"? he is so aggressive and almost peeped on me!" yelling continuously.

I was shocked! So rude - I mean, that's a dog for crying out loud lady! And my puppy wasn't even aggressive with her!

We ended up leaving with my 11-year-old son. I said to her "sorry, I'm very sorry" and then grabbed my puppy and left.

my boyfriend and i come to this park everyday. we bring our 23-24lb poodle into the small dog section. we really really love it. unfortunately the one thing i absolutely despise about this park are the people in the small dog section. the older people who sit in the gazebo have absolutely no life clearly. they argue with us constantly as we do laps with our dogs. they have an issue that we bring a ball.. they have an issue our dog barks (when other dogs hump him or something). one lady constantly comes at us. she literally has a 60lb basset hound in the small dogs section and yells at us about having a fetch toy for our damn dog!!!!! i swear these nasty old people LOVE TO BULLY...
