The play space is cool and my daughter loved it but the owner Suzy is awful!!!! She has 0 customer service experience. I have over 20 years customer service experience and she doesn't know how to please a customer. She defends her employees and sides with them over what the customer is saying. BEWARE they charge a credit card fee on every purchase!! Have you ever been to a play place that did this...nope! Not the one in Morristown or Chatham that I've been to. She claims it's their CLOVER service they use well guess what you as a company can eat the cost of that fee and pay it so your customer doesn't. The other businesses/play places are paying the credit card fees themselves and not charging their customers. Just like when you go to places and it says $10 credit card minimum because the place doesn't want to pay a fee for under $10 but they NEVER charge the customer. You lost me as a customer. I'm sorry I will go to other play places that don't charge credit card fees and are sneaky about it. It's no where on your website, no signs, no fine print. Do you know she had the nerve to tell me if I want to be sneaky there are other ways I can be and this isn't one of them!!!!! Who says that as an OWNER!!! God help this woman! And when i called her before they opened they wanted $5,000 for a PRIVATE party i said get lost I rather go to europe. I told her good luck you won't book any and sure enough I heard the price came down....good luck in your business. I hate to see people fail but you shouldn't be telling me that if I ever need anything to swing by and talk to you. I won't step foot in that place so how about you offer me free play if you want me there. That's the way to turn an upset customer around not apologizing and saying have a nice day. Good luck!!

since I can't reply to huckleberry's comment she wanted to refund me $2.13 It would cost me more in gas to come there and that doesn't solve the issue. They still charge a $2.00 fee on credit card purchases. Fix that issue!! Yes, your employee is a cashier she's not a manager like I was lied to. When I want to speak to a manager I expect someone of higher level: she was cashier level. That's not degrading in any way I was a cashier when I was younger but I wanted to speak to a MANAGER and huckleberry obviously doesn't know the difference in hierarchy. You said swing by I'm always here why would I want to come and see someone that didn't even resolve my issue over the phone. What you should have said was please come in so I can give you some open play for free. That's what you said have done but as a business owner you lost a customer and I will be relaying the message to all my mom friends in town. I'm having a private party at kidville next weekend and i'm paying NO WHERE NEAR $5,000 for the doors to be closed. More like $1,000. it's a difference play place and experience I get that but $5,000 is a bit far fetched. Don't worry I won't be back and don't want me $2.13 it's the principal that you charge a credit card fee on everything and don't tell the customer but...
Read moreWe had my son's race car themed 3rd birthday party at Huckleberry Play a few weeks ago and it was absolutely PERFECT! 🙌🏾
I truly appreciated Yoojean’s communication and collaboration about the party details from beginning to end, because when my family and friends walked into my son's birthday party, we were BLOWN away at the beautifully decorated race car themed table displays, balloon bunches, cake and cupcake stands, and back drop. The party room was modernly designed and spacious easily fitting the 40 adults and kids attending. As an added bonus the race car themed graphic design for my son really added a special touch to his party experience and gave our guests and I an opportunity to capture photos of our fun experience!
I truly appreciated the ease and fun my family and I were able to have because of how efficient and streamlined the Huckleberry team handled our party from start to finish. The kids and parents had a BLAST on the slides and the ball pit! There was so much JOY and FUN captured throughout our time at Huckleberry Play.
What I appreciated the most was the photos that were strategically and intentionally taken before and during the party by the Huckleberry team. I often have very few photos of my husband and I during memorable events like this because we are hosting, however, because of the the team at Huckleberry, I have several beautifully captured photos (that actually include me in them,) of my baby boy's 3rd birthday! (Thank you for this added touch Yoojean!)
We frequent various indoor playgrounds in Northern NJ, and were deciding between Huckleberry and another indoor playground we have a membership at to host our son's party. Why we chose Huckleberry? Beyond the spacious and beautifully designed facility, Huckleberry is THE CLEANEST indoor playground we've been to, with staff circulating round the clock restocking, refreshing, and wiping down populous areas.
To Yoojean and the staff at Huckleberry THANK YOU so much for curating a truly beautiful and fun birthday experience for my son and his guests! I HIGHLY recommend Huckleberry Play for your next playdate or birthday party! It's guaranteed to be 10's across...
Read moreHuckleberry is a very fun play place, and all of our guests had a fun time during the birthday party! The large ball pit and climbing gym are unique and set this play place apart from others in the area. We love all the different options for kids to play with, from the jungle gym/ball pit, to the play dress up area, the market, and the separate area for the youngest of guests (putting parents of infants/very young ones at ease that there is a smaller area apart from the wildness of the main play area). The decorations were done so nicely and I loved the personalized happy birthday screen behind front desk that showed my little girl's picture! Huckleberry has a lot of themes to choose from for the birthday party, and parents can relax knowing the room will be well decorated & fun---no need to worry about bringing decor!
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is because I wish there was more of a host/staff presence when it was time for the party room portion of the birthday party. We were called overhead for the room and the food we purchased was laid out (unfortunately the pizza was all cold). The stand they used to hold the dessert (a cupcake cake, in my daughter's case) was small and circular; The board underneath the cupcake cake was large and rectangular; and extended past the edges of the tiny circular table. I felt I had to constantly stand guard near it as I was worried someone would brush by and it would get knocked over. The kids/adults were finished with pizza and everyone was just waiting and I was seeing that the time for the birthday party was almost over. I had to have someone look for a staff member to ask them to come by to light the candle to start doing cake as our room time was almost over. They came in to light the candle, and facilitated singing happy birthday, then left. After everyone was done with cupcakes, a staff member stuck their head in and said "ok party is over !" Perhaps it was a busier day than normal, but more help with structuring the party room portion would be helpful, as the desserts and end time seemed so rushed (and maybe a friendlier farewell than "ok...
