Liquid Church - Morris County — Attraction in Parsippany-Troy Hills

I droped of my child to the kids childcare and a volunteer with blonde hair repremaided my child for spoiling some movie to another child. I personally didn’t understand what the big deal was it was catty and unnecessary. Children are children. I seeked counseling for my spouse and I. The pastor just directed me to a list of therapist outside of church. Thanks for getting to know my family? I thought to myself ODD! I thought churches were suppost to be helpful and be involved with families. The coffee is free and we are greeted when we arrive/ I just sense that this church is about money and not much about their member who want help from church. I’m definitely not seeking for money since I am contactor. I was just seeking for emotional help, working long hours and just wanted blessings. I tried the prayer after the cermon was done, I poured by heart out and the lady did pray but was brushed off,it made me feel worse. A little more sympathy would of been nice. I noticed they wanted me to do a group but I didnt have time for it since i work til 7:30 work day. So im guessing if im not part of their click of life groups or volunteer.. then I’m not part of the church;It’s ashame. Church should be welcoming emotionally and pastors should have more empathy and know their members more. Everyones is different with personalities not everyone approaches people. The pastors should get to know all individuals at their church at least the ones who go every sunday. Its been 3 years and I loved it in the beginning but now its going down hill in my opinion. My husband and I decided recently to start attending church and we set out to find a Christ-centered church in NJ. We have some funny stories to tell about our quest to find the right fit. Ultimately, we found Liquid, and we have been attending for about a month. Every message speaks directly to us. I cry at every service because I am a huge sap and I am touched by the love that I feel in this place. My family's journey has not been easy, and there has been conflict along the way. When I attend these services I feel as though a huge weight has been lifted. This church helps people. I can see where my tithes are going. It is tangible. In the overall scheme of things, this is a newer church. It is up to each of us to become part of the body of the church, contributing our talents. I have never had a church invite its members to participate in running the church the way that Liquid does. The leaders of this church don't feel complacent or threatened; they trust God while embracing the community. They are completely transparent. They pass the basket once because they know that God will provide. Their actions are congruent with their faith. I can't say enough about how much I love this place. God...

I no longer attend-after years attending the church, I wasn't able to join groups at the church because of my work schedule, football season, and in general being a mom and wife of a construction worker. My family and I enjoyed the pastors message and the plus side- my children enjoyed their classes. I loved the upbeat atmosphere and positive message! My son and daughter loved their classes but a new team member took over and couldn't work with my son football and daughters schedule like the previous team leader of child department did. My family tried to make it work and came back a few time but it was challenging with our little ones so we ultimately chose to continue online at home.
