Super Scoops Ice Cream — Restaurant in Parsippany-Troy Hills

The family was so excited to come today and treat ourselves with some ice cream. We were served with a polite young lady. My son’s ice cream was dripping so my husband went to reach for a napkin and the other young lady that was helping another gentleman flipped out on my husband because he reached and got a napkin. She pointed out to him that he was not to reach over the counter, he apologized profusely and then she proceeded to say she had to throw the whole stack away. He again apologized and offered to purchase the stack so she wouldn’t have to waste the stack. Still she was ranting about how he should not have reached over.

We have never encountered such a rude employee from there. In the past everyone has been so polite and nice but this one even my 8 year old son thought was extremely rude. Every time my husband apologized she continued to get more rude and did not want to hear an apology.

As a returning customer for many years it is quite disrespectful to have such an attitude and rudeness and at that in front of other patrons. We are so sad that we will not be returning there and will find ourselves a different place to go to enjoy a great evening as a family.

My husband and I weren’t too pleased. We came with cash on our walk and we are never told the price up front. Now with two people with mediums and plain ice cream with toppings somehow is $14. We get similar ice cream things at cold stone and don’t even pay that much for medium. After being advised we said that we would have to go home which was across the way and get cash and the girls gave an attitude about that which wasn’t any different than having to go across the street to Krausers to get cash from the ATM. An ATM that charges you to take money out and your bank to charge you to take money out to eat is overprice ice cream That you made so just go to the store by toppings and scoop the stuff out yourself and eat it at home. At least coldstone actually has fancy stuff that you can mix in and they do all the mix and then for you and have different flavors that you don’t buy in the stores. Don’t waste your money . And even took our money for an ice cream that we didn’t even get and really walked out with my husband‘s ice cream only. But the attitude got us the most. Never again. Id rather doordash coldstone and pay the delivery fees with tip...

My girlfriend and I go here atleast once a week to satisfy our sweet tooth and don't leave disappointed. The go to for me is the Butterfinger Blast and she goes for either Snickers or the Salty Caramel with the cookie crumble topping. The prices are super reasonable especially for the portion sizes. I'm super full after a medium which would be a large at most other places.

The staff has always been super friendly and given us no problems. Being cash only doesn't bother me but I understand that being an issue in today's day and age.

My only knock is that the Cookie Dough doesn't have much flavor to me. That's my normal staple at an icecream place. Considering how good their other flavors are I can...
