Where to begin... There was no bartender when we arrived at the beginning of the event. There was a woman guarding the bar, but when we asked for a drink, she simply disappeared into the hallway. We had to chase several people down in order to get the bartender into the room. Alcohol did not start until approximately 6:30 or later. • We contracted for the venue to provide wine and beer. They did not supply wine. Upon request for the promised wine, Arbor Mist White Zinfandel was provided in the amount of two bottles. Arbor Mist is wine cooler, not wine, and Zinfandel had been agreed upon. Zinfandel is red wine, and White Zinfandel is rose - two different grapes. Even if every guest only had one glass of wine, that would equal 16 bottles, not 2. I had to leave to purchase wine at approx.. 7:30 PM after repeatedly asking that it be served, and we had waited 1.5 hours for wine to be served. • Beer ran out and our employees had to leave late in the evening to purchase more. • The bartender had no experience – he admitted to our guests that our party was his first time bartending. He asked patrons how much alcohol to put into their cups. He attempted to put ice into wine servings. He was also scooping ice into cups with his bare hands, which is a health code violation. It was only remedied after our CEO complained. The bartender frequently disappeared and our guests had to pour their own drinks. • Dinner was agreed to be served at 6 PM. We had to ask twice in order to get our dinner served. It did not come out until approximately 7:30. The food was nowhere near the quality of the samples provided during the tasting – guests complained that it did not taste fresh. Dessert provided was only one small plate of items. This in no way can serve a group of 80 people. • No one was able to answer any basic questions about service, schedule, or how to remedy any complaints. Service workers would drift in and out, but would leave if we attempted to speak to them or...
Read more5 stars!!!!!!! Hello, we had a glamorous evening for my 93 yr old grandmother. I was looking at venues for over a year . We went to a wedding here and I feel in love with this venue. They offered different styles, decorations , cakes, centerpieces, bartenders and food .It is a one stop shop. Even though I had my own caterer ,DJ , and live band. Anything I asked they could accommodate. Everyone enjoyed themselves and asked about the venue, I referred them to Daniel he’s the best!!!!! Everything was elegant and Daniel did a magnificent job . I told him the colors and let him have at it . I walked into the space and it was more than I could imagine simply stunning. Everyone was professional and hands on with whatever I asked or wanted (which took stress off of me). This place is beautiful , elegant, clean and they can accommodate ALL OF YOUR NEEDS/ WANTS. They have spaces such as a bridal suite ,a space for cocktail hour, also a outdoor space . Any types of event they can accommodate..Their prices are reasonable. They respond quickly and effectively. I will definitely...
Read moreMy Uncle John lost the battle to cancer and the family needed a place to celebrate his life!! This place is amazing!! It has multiple rooms, a huge bathroom with more than enough stalls(not sure exactly why I am including that part but there ya go...)! The staff was easily located and readily available to assist in any way they could! The rooms in this place were so elegant and decorated so beautifully. Like princess status decorations! There is a beautiful lil hallway with white drapery over the walls (for what I can imagine is the part of a wedding where ya throw bird seeds). It looks so elegant! There is a kitchen like one you would see in a resturaunt. Its the peanut butter to ur jelly folks........for real! You will not be disappointed! Our unfortunate event could not have been more respected or pleasant. Thank you FountainBlu Event Centers ........may your business outshine your competitors(no offense), your recognition continue to grow, and your business continue to shine!
