I don’t frequent bars, but visited this one for a friend’s party and everything was fine. My only complaint was the fact that someone emptied an ashtray in a plastic trash can by the restrooms and a small fire started. The bartender was having a conversation with another customer and I interrupted him in order to ask for water to put it out. He became visibly annoyed with me and acted like I inconvenienced him, rolling his eyes as he filled a cup of water and set it down on the bar. That’s the extent of the help your bartender offered. This is a quaint local dive bar. Not fancy but comfortable.Many walks of life get together for drinks which equates to various music and mood settings depending on the patronage and bartenders. They do serve snacks occasionally. Limited beer on tap, but plenty of other options with a good variety of liquor. My go to is Crown. For fun there a are two pool tables, dart boards and other games. I had a fantastic time. The bartenders were amazing. Do NOT disrespect them! I was passing through and had never had a Lonestar. Erica recommended that I get it in a bottle because of the puzzle caps so I even got to leave with a souvenir. Fun place, Astros game on the big screen, cool jukebox after and decent prices.
