This business is a joke.
My husband and I have tried replacing our modem 4 times now.
Their communication is poor. The first time I scheduled an appointment for our modem to be fixed, I specially told them that I wouldn’t be able to stay at my house the whole duration and I was honest with what I could do. They told me it would be no problem and I would be called and given an hour to get back home to meet the service man. I received a link to confirm for their arrival, confirmed it, and went straight back to my house. Waited several hours, just for them to change the status to “cancelled”. I called them back, and was told that the service man arrived and no one was there.. come to find out, they arrived several hours before I received and confirmed the link for them to arrive. No one called me as I was told I would.
My husband calls them to figure out what went wrong, apparently they still had our old address and that’s the address they arrived at?? After we’ve updated the address several times?? And when I spoke to customer service no one told me that??
My husband yet again scheduled yet another maintenance visit, was told someone would come the next day, No one showed up.
During this whole process we’ve been tight on time due to our plans of a vacation in just a few short days.
So we leave for vacation. Come back, call spark light back. Our wifi/modem is still not working properly. Yet we are spending 100+ a month for wifi we can barely use and have tried countless time to get it fixed and have been TOLD countless of times we would have someone to fix it.
I call after our vacation to try and get it fixed AGAIN. They finally tell me I can bring it to the closest sparklight location. So I’m finally driving to get this modem fixed just to arrive and be told your system down.
I’m honestly over this company. Your communication has been so poor. Your service has been so poor. And no accommodation has been given for any of the poor experience/service we’ve received...
Read moreTerrible customer service!! First, we had to wait 2 weeks before they would even come out to set up our cable and internet and every time we would call back to see about an earlier time frame, no one could give us a direct answer.
Also, my husband and I agreed to a promotion price which should be a set price for the amount of months agreed to. When my first bill came, it was $30 more than the price agreed to in the promotion because they want to charge surcharges. We were not told this up front and would not have agreed to it had we been told. Spoke with 2 reps and nothing could be done. We are turning in our cable boxes tomorrow and keeping just the internet. I wouldn’t keep the internet either if there was another company around here. They are just trying to find ways to take customers money. I’ve been with two other cable companies and have never had this many issues. I would not recommend this...
Read moreMy internet is great to this day but had some problems with getting installation at my new home. The lady at the actual location was friendly and got us set up no problem. However, on the day that installation was suppose to happen they never showed after confirm through a automatic call to confirm time. I than call the online call center, worse decision ever, instead of getting friendly service the lady on the phone wanted to blame me for everything saying I missed the call from the installer and than turning around and saying that it was a automatic call and when I asked which was it she said she didn't know if it was an automatic or the installer who called. The only reason it gets a two instead of a one is cause the installer when he finally came out was very helpful in trying to get us the best connection possible unlike some company I've been through that just start the Internet...
