We stopped in to the Celtic Bar on our scooter trip from Palm Harbor Florida to New Orleans. We needed a break and luckily we found this bar. It was just what we needed. We wanted a quick beer, some wings and to meet some locals. Didn’t want a chain of the same old same old. We hit the jack pot! Beer was cold, wings were awesome. Miss Wanda was our bartender and couldn’t have been nicer! The locals were interested in our story and where we came from, showed us around the little bar and told us a little about Pascagoula! It was everything we needed! Thank you very much for your hospitality. I've been here maybe 8 times now and have finally figured it out. My initial reason for coming here was that I read it was a biker/rock and roll bar. I'm not sure about the biker part as I've always been the only one on a bike there. Rock and mature drinker crowd during the days, but at night it seems to be more hip-hop crowd and that's all you hear music wise. What a jem of a place. Communication with owner/booker was prompt (no more than 24-48hr turn around time for all responses). The staff is great, friendly and attentive. Didn't have to run our own sound (rare). The sound man was on point and got a great mix for us for both house and stage monitors. Our guarantee was met and the bar patrons amazingly supportive of original music. Highly recommended stopping through Pascagula, MS and playing a show or catching one here.
