What a wonderful experience. This is a multi-generation winery with the children of the founders, now with degrees and a lifetime of experience now operating the winery. The quality of the wine remains very high and if you want big reds, this is the place. We just returned from another three-day trip to Paso Robles and a highlight was a picnic lunch at Fratelli Perata. We always stop there for their terrific dry-farmed Italian varieties, but our visit this time was the best ever. Wonderful hospitality at this small, family-run winery, and a wonderful picnic spot on their sun-filled deck.
