Visiting from the Aloha State. Awesome visit found Vineyard by accident. Kinda diamond in the ruff. Host Violet was very friendly and Kool. I'm not a wine drinker, so it was a first for me and loved the flavors, taste and small info on all the different type of wines we tasted. Met the owner Jimmy Kool, down to earth, Supa friendly sang karaoka right there in da tasting area. Now dat was kool experience for a first time wine tastier. Awesome job Jimmy u run a place for everyone to come and just relax have fun and enjoy your wines. Me and my bruddahs had a awesome time as we say in Hawaii Mahalo!! Hopefully I can come back and have a few glasses with you and enjoy da moment. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DIS PALCE IF YOU IN DA AREA

My girl and I were taking a ride to Cambria on 46 and stopped here for tasting. It is rIght off 101. $15 each waived if you buy wine. Their wine is good. Bought a case (Zin, Malbec, and a Mixed Red) and they shipped it home. Super friendly people in the tasting room. The view outside is very nice. You get the winery feel. Recommended! Photo is of Hearst Castle and zebras.

Had a great time visiting this winery. The owner, Jimmy, was super friendly and gave us a bunch of tips on other things to do in the area too. The wine offered was really taste as well, and service was great. Would definitely visit again! The cute dogs were a huge plus too!

I called and left three messages regarding the attack and killing of a patrons dog and asked if they would please call me back. I wanted to speak with the owners to ask what and if anything is being done with the dogs to keep patrons safe. They chose not to return my calls I will not risk my life going to this winery, due to the severity of the aggressive and uncontrolled German Shepards on site.

Obviously, they are quite aware of the danger their dogs pose.

I saw this posted on Yelp. Almost ten years ago!

12/10/2013 A warning about this winery. My friend and I arrived on a Sunday morning 12/8/13 very excited to visit Doce Robles after reading the good Yelp reviews. When we arrived, we were approached by two dogs. At first the dogs blocked my car and would not allow us to come into the parking lot. After waiting a few minutes they finally moved and we were able to park. As my friend got out of the car, one of the dogs came at her and jumped on the side of the passenger door, leaving a scratch on my white car. The male owner came out and yelled at his dog to leave us alone. He quickly went back inside and did not have the courtesy to come out and see if any damage was caused. The owner saw both of us examining the passenger side of the car for about 5 minutes but did not come out again. We left this winery without going inside for tasting.

Don't bring your new car or young children to this winery. The owners have two large, untrained dogs and he is not a responsible...

We were so looking forward to tasting some wine here, however, as we drove up, we were met by 3 barking German Shepherds with hair standing on end. A gentleman standing at the door really made zero attempt to get them inside. So….NOPE! Didn’t even try to get out of the car! They may have had the best wine in Paso Robles but sadly they lost our business before we got to try it.🥲 Approach this winery...
