Treana Winery — Attraction in Templeton

Hands down the best wine-tasting experience I've ever had. The incredibly and genuinely friendly staff welcomed us with a glass of Rose at the door. We brought our dog, and this place is VERY DOG-FRIENDLY, inside and out. The outside ambiance is incredible, with a maze of private tasting areas separated by lovely foliage and grand vineyard views. The outside area has heaters. They allow picnics, which is what we did. Our sommeliers were Nick and Jennifer, and they were delightful and welcoming. Must come here. Ambiance and wine is light and fun (only tasted whites this trip). Marcy was exceptional. Kind, welcoming and easy to engage with. Our pup was welcome and even got her own biscuit. Tasty cheese box avail enough for 2 and for the tasting.

Everyone told us Tuesdays were mostly easy to get in anywhere. We had to cancel a prior reservation here. Beware of the "wine club". I was billed for it twice over 2 years at $300+ each time. The first time, I contacted them to let them know I had never joined the club and requested that they remove me from whatever list they had me on. They did not issue a refund or cancel the order, I had to dispute the charge with my bank. This time, I contacted them directly, once again to cancel this fraudulent order, they did not remove the charge and I had to dispute the charge with my bank and ended up canceling my card in order to avoid further issues....This place is a total scam.
