I usually pass by this park but never reviewed about it, the employees that work for the park do all they can to maintain the area but they can only do so much, I like the horse barn but it's closed and I think they should either reopen it and bring the horses back, it needs a big cleanup too, it's missing teamwork, should be kept classy, the park itself has some historical sense to it but it could do better, the restrooms need to be changed as well, it's not really safe so to speak, I honestly think the Dept of Public Works should try to step up and either keep it as a historical park with like sprinklers or something, something that attracts the people to the park and also to keep the park closed at night to prevent the hoodlums from hanging out, and maybe they should get an overnight security if the park goes through an extensive...

There is a water fountain for kids to play, a obstacle course play area and a play house with slides next to the water fountain. However, as a parent you have to closely monitor your children at the play ground because the play areas are over used and under maintained. A couple of the swings were broken, wall panels from the slide equipment where children climb and maze through are missing and the padded ground is in disarray causing a tripping hazard because of it's uneven surface.
