I usually pass by this park but never reviewed about it, the employees that work for the park do all they can to maintain the area but they can only do so much, I like the horse barn but it's closed and I think they should either reopen it and bring the horses back, it needs a big cleanup too, it's missing teamwork, should be kept classy, the park itself has some historical sense to it but it could do better, the restrooms need to be changed as well, it's not really safe so to speak, I honestly think the Dept of Public Works should try to step up and either keep it as a historical park with like sprinklers or something, something that attracts the people to the park and also to keep the park closed at night to prevent the hoodlums from hanging out, and maybe they should get an overnight security if the park goes through an extensive remodeling..

The first day I came to this country this was one of the first park that I ever tried , I also took my son to enjoyed the Mother Nature there. I only hit four stars because one day I was running in the park early morning around 8 am. and there was an old man and I think , he was drunk really drunk, that he was chasing me and I was so scared that I had to run to my car. Right now the park looks very safety, they have some type of security that’s a plus. I recommend it.

Love this park. As a fan of landscape architecture, the stairs are a big attraction. Definitely a good park to get some cool pictures of your car too. When you're in this park, it feels like you are a world away from the challenged neighborhood nearby, which is absolutely wonderful. That being said, it can feel like an opening scene of Law & Order as well, lol. So just be sure to keep that in mind.

This park is a nice place to carry your children or to do personal jogging and general exercise. There is a water fountain for kids to play, a obstacle course play area and a play house with slides next to the water fountain. However, as a parent you have to closely monitor your children at the play ground because the play areas are over used and under maintained. As such, the padded floors are worn in some areas and your children can slide and bruise arms and fall hard or hit head when coming through the play house slides especially if they are wet after playing in the fountain. Please be vigilant and monitor your children to...

I visited the playground with my 2 year old toddler. I was very disappointed with the condition of the play area. A couple of the swings were broken, wall panels from the slide equipment where children climb and maze through are missing and the padded ground is in disarray causing a tripping hazard because of it's uneven surface. It's sad since property taxes are so high yet residents can't enjoy the playground with their children. Litter on the ground is also part of what lessens the...
