We came with our 6 year old daughter and stayed for a few hours. Things went okay until the very end until we wanted to paint a pumpkin. We were told by a very unprofessional inexperienced young lady we had to go to the front and purchase a $5 wrist band and get a pumpkin and we could come back and paint. We went to the pumpkin farm picked a large size pumpkin and never was told anything. We came back into the painting area again and was never told anything about having a large pumpkin by the young lady. My daughter husband and I were having a good time together decorating our pumpkins until we were rudely interrupted by an older caucasian woman. She circled around my 6 year old daughter verbally attack her rudely raising her voice accusing us of stealing a $5 pumpkin when the large ones were $10. My husband intervened and told the lady I needed to speak to your manager you are raising your voice to us and accusing us of a miscommunication. She said she is the manager and the owner!! How unprofessional and rude to approach us like that and racial profiling us because we are Hispanic with tattoos she treated us like we were criminals very unkind racist we will never come back. Ruined our...
Read moreWent with a couple of friends in 2013 just before Halloween and it was so much fun! My first time in a corn maze. Then again I'm a kid at heart so I love this kind of stuff. :)
We paid $12 each because we wanted to do the haunted maze too (it's the best part!). Seemed like a good deal to me. That was awesome, btw, I screamed a billion times (I scare easy :)).
Bonus: If you get to all the stops in the maze and show them your punchcard to prove it, you get to take a pumpkin home with you!
Before you go, check out pics of each year's maze pattern on the website just to see what they're like. Ours was the Mayan face. At one point, me and my friend were looking at our maps saying, "Ok, we need to go through the tooth to get to the eyeball." I'm better with directions in a maze than I thought I'd be.
Just be sure to wear good shoes (uneven ground) and bring Flashlights.
Minus 1 star just because it's a bit of a drive from...
