It’s rare that you get to meet someone in life that is so passionate about what they do, and if you haven’t met someone like that yet, then go to the Kitte Cat Cafe. You should also go because the cats are super cute but what makes the experience special is the people that own the business. My boyfriend and I went and were greeted my one of the owners, Uri. You can tell that he genuinely appreciates every person that comes through the door. Working with cats (especially cats that have been in a shelter) is all about respecting their boundaries and meeting them where they’re at. You can tell that the owners have taken this mentality and applied it to their business. Uri was kind and engaged with everyone who wanted to chat. He was an incredible advocate and source of knowledge when it came to his vendors and their products (like the catnip kickers). It’s important to support local businesses but this one in particular is one that should be supported a...
Read moreMe and my boyfriend went there to go look at cats today! It was so much fun, we got to pet play and interact with every cat from the goofiest to the shyest that are just warming up! There are many cats with a different personality’s, ages and backgrounds! We are now trying to adopt a baby we seen there today!
Best experience with great owner who knew so much about all the cats and their needs! Some great highlights to add is you get to walk with the cats that like to be in backpacks and bring them outside. Plus everything there you buy goes straight to the cats and taking care of them. Uri truly cares for all the cats and kittens no matter age, condition, or where they came from. He is patient, soft spoken, and treats them with all the love and respect they deserve. He cleans before and after every visit to keep the cats and visitors safe! And makes sure cats are handled...
Read moreMy wife, daughter and I spent nearly an hour here this past weekend and it was one of the best spent hours we had. Uri welcomed us in at the start of our appointment and gave us a brief intro to the cats in the cafe. Walls are adorned with previously fostered cats as well as artist renditions of the current cats. We were fortunate to go early because it gave us a chance to feed the cats with snacks and that helped with interactivity for petting them. The cafe admission is by appointment so there is never any overcrowding here. There is also a small gift shop that allows you to buy some merchandise to help pay the cost of fostering and cat food. I would say that any cat lover in the Boston area should come and check this place out. If you are looking to adopt, even better! Boston needs more cafes like this! Thanks for a...
