I got to go there with a puppy dog 🐶 Nice sized park and plenty of play ground for dogs 🐶 I saw doggies enjoying their lives ☺️ Definitely recommended park for sure! 🙂 Come and cheers 🥂

This park is well used by the community. It’s beautiful. Improvements are happening around the George Flyod statue and that the reason for my visit.

Enjoyed this park a year ago and always been a good place to run. Didn’t know about the seasonal time change and has been a good year since I’ve been back. As I finish my run I had the officer pretty force me out of the park without much explanation besides the fact that they were closed and I had to “get the heck* out”now. (Along with the fact I was holding people up apparently even though that wasn’t the case and it was only about 7:10 so over 10 mins)… in the end I got in my car and to make things even better he literally had his car right behind mine (almost close to the bumper) as if he wanted me to speed out the park even though the limit is 20 and I’m already shaken up by the fact he approached me with the high beams and telling me to get out so that didn’t help. Overall the officer could have done the approach differently and explain to me about the seasonal time change but instead ignored my comment about how the last time I was there the closing time was always 9pm. That’s not the way staff or an officer should treat someone and especially after the person explains the fact that they didn’t know and apologizes for the confusion. Disappointed if this is how the people that work there treat everyone and won’t be returning back...

I love running along this section of Tom Bass park. It's very scenic, adjacent to the golf course and has a couple of duck ponds, a dog park, tons of beautiful trees, a great walking/running trail several play grounds, family gathering areas equip with BBQ pits & restrooms, a huge hill and a huge outdoor theater. There is even a wheelchair accessible ramp in one of the family gathering areas so more of the park can be enjoyed by the family member that needs this. Even with all of that, my absolute favorite thing is the running trail material. It's so easy on my joints since it is not asphalt or concrete that I can go for a daily run without injuries. And section one encompasses such a large area, it makes it easy to exercise and maintain social distance. I think this section of the park is a hidden gem that others should explore more. By the way, I've seen two armadillos, tons of robins, a family of six deer, ducks and a crane. So you'll never know what you'll see while...

I love it because of the natural beauty of it. Just today i saw an armadillo at the park for the first time in real life. I never saw one inreal life before only pictures of them so seeing one in real life was pretty awesome! For me anyway. I would have taken a picture of it but it went back into the tall grass to quick before i could take a picture of it. It also has covered playgrounds for the kids to play on and dog parks for big dogs and one for lttle dogs to. You can also go fishing there in designate areas. It also has golf courses open to the public and volleyball and basketball to. It also has picnic areas some of them even have bbq pits that u can use and i don't mean the little ones that u see at hermann park but full size ones like the kinds u buy at walmart or home depot and stores like that. It is an awesome place for small and big kids a like. I highly recommend this place for family's. I...
