We first went to Jolly Pumpkin but it was a 45 min wait so we went here instead. I noticed that they had the same app menu so we ordered the cheese plate and the crab tots. The tots were okay but the lemon aioli tasted off. The cheese plate was just an awkward combination and everything was sliced too thick. They could have just thinly sliced everything. It would have looked like more, been easier to eat, and a more appropriate amount of meat and cheese to give us. Either the persons knife isn't sharp enough to slice thinly or they're just lazy. Either way it's a problem and they're ripping themselves off.
As for the selection, the gouda and a cheddar are both semi hard cheeses. They were very bland and had a similar taste. The mozzarella was just weird to put on a cheese plate. Overall it was just a pathetic attempt at a cheese plate and there is no excuse for that. They could get cheese from the cheese lady or ship it in and have more variety or novelty selection.
As for the service, we came in at 3:30 and they sat us at the high tops across the bar. Shortly after that, they started telling people only the bar or outside seating was available because they were getting ready for dinner at 5. At 4 they cleared our drinks without asking if we wanted more or asking if we would like to continue our drinking outside or at the bar. While that was rude and uneccesarily short that was fine with us because if the apps were any reflection of the dinner menu we saved ourselves a lot more money and dissapointment. The only redeeming quality was the ambiance...
Read moreI got married at Mission Table on 10/15/22 and it was simply beautiful. Our food was wonderful and our event coordinator Barb was very knowledgeable and helpful. Albeit a little short at times. We did have problems with the public entering our event space as there are no posted signs. Everyone was very polite and left when they realized that a wedding was taking place. There was also another wedding on premise that day and that bridal party entered my event space with their photographer to take pictures just before my ceremony. That really wasn't appropriate and if I had it to do over again I would have spoken with staff about signage to keep public/other weddings out of our dining room. Even with these interruptions this space was magical and our staff was very courteous. Especially our bartender Karen! She was lovely. It truly was the most wonderful rainy day of my life. I did knock a star off because my parents were charged a $100 fee when my very pregnant sister in law got sick in the bar. I understand cleaning up a mess like this is not in anyone's job description for private events but it did seem a little aggressive to me. She wasn't some over served jerk. She was 6 months pregnant and struggling. All said, I would recommend this space to anyone especially for a moody fall wedding. Thank you to our...

Today was our 3rd visit and most likely the last. We were checked in at 1:35 and told it would be 20 minutes. 45 minutes later we had a table. I ordered a chicken sandwich with mayo on the side. Sandwich came with mayo on it. Fries were dead. My wife's chicken in her chicken salad was rubber.
The staff is friendly, but they are very understaffed. You can see them trying but they are overwhelmed and get confused easily. I would give our server Brian P. 5 stars as he did all he could under the circumstances. Had it not been for us watching the staff making a genuine effort I would have given one star. Maybe they don't pay them enough to have a full staff, maybe they can't pay them enough, maybe it is poor leadership I don't know.
The view here is spectacular and there is no reason this place couldn't be packed all the time. I would genuinely like to know why this place consistently fails to deliver on timely, good food. Please feel free to contact me to discuss. I would love to try and...
