Zero stars Will County Fair for being turned away at the grandstand ticket booth for the rodeo on 8/28/22 for having a camera around my neck. Sign on the ticket booth this year said NO Camera or Video Cameras Allowed. I have taken pictures of the rodeos for the past 8 years. Why not let people know via website & Facebook that cameras were not allowed this year. Last year you could take pics. Put a sign up at the Fair entrances, as well.
There were at least 1000 people in the grandstand that bought tickets ahead of me and I bet 800 of them have a cell phone on them that are capable of taking very good pictures and videos equal to my Pentax DSLR . No one there knew the answer as to why camera were not allowed in. It would have taken about thirty minutes for me to make the long walk to the car to get rid of the camera.
So I just left. Didn't ride anything or eat anything. To mad. 66 miles drive to have my afternoon ruined not to mention the gas wasted and $5.00 non-refundable ...
