Peotone Park District — Attraction in Peotone

Horrible set up for football on a side field with no where to park. The grass was way too high, one porta-potty, concessions half a mile away, and a field goal separated from the actual playing field. All in the name of protecting the real football field next to us from kids messing up the turf. What do you think a football field is for? And what do you think the high school players are going to do to the field? Way more damage than the jr high boys would do. It's like saving the fine china for a special occassion that...

Great unless it rains, due to gravel trails to save money on paths and the trails being lower than ground around it. They flood. Other than that, there a pound, ducks, few baseball fields, wide open areas too, benches around trails. Only other complaint is if you have dogs or kids there often people in golf karts who aren't suppose to be driving them there putting them at risk of injury. Doesn't seem enforced since there no police or...

At this park I had an amazing experience in the fall time with the friendly Canadian geese present in the pond and the park having a open environment. There is plenty of parking spots, and multiple outdoor games that can be played. I really wish I knew about this...
