Nice park. Clean with bathrooms available after spring. Playground is small. Mainly for toddlers. Open grass areas with plenty of space. Usually a couple times a year there are small events here. There is also a farmers market (if you can call it that) that they have on Fridays later spring to early fall-ish.

Great spot. Off the path less traveled. Turtles & water fowl! Best lunch hour spot in cecil county! Bring your own food. Don't litter or feed the birds...Stay away it's mine! Lol.

Beautiful in the winter! Not in a busy place, down by the Susquehanna River Railroad Bridge. Some boat parking, private I think.

Attended the lower ferry festival. I was parked in a parking lot next to the festival and was blocked in on both sides by other cars. There were several other cars in the same situation. The Perryville Police patrolling the festival could not help because it was a private lot. It took about an hour before a car moved so I could move out. If the officials for the festival knew the parking lot would be used for attendees, there should have been someone assigned to monitor the lot to prevent...

I’ve never been to this park before and I was surprised by how nice it was. Although I was in the wrong place, I was looking for the Farmers Market, which was not in the park. However I’m glad I found this gem because I’ll definitely be back when I have time to look around. The park sits on the water’s edge, with lots of cutouts to pull off the road and park facing out over the water. One thing that I wish they had was a walking path, people and vehicles sharing one lane was...

My biggest pet peeve of any park: Follow the guidelines of each and every park. It's for everyone's enjoyment and safety. At this park there's a sign at the entrance of the pier: No fishing allowed from the pier. Lo and behold, there were a family fishing w little kids. Great view of the river and it has a portapottie. Shaded areas for sitting and reading. There's a ramp for boats, I assume for the neighbors who owns boats. Cute...
