Attended the lower ferry festival. I was parked in a parking lot next to the festival and was blocked in on both sides by other cars. There were several other cars in the same situation. The Perryville Police patrolling the festival could not help because it was a private lot. It took about an hour before a car moved so I could move out. However I’m glad I found this gem because I’ll definitely be back when I have time to look around. Read moreMy biggest pet peeve of any park: Follow the guidelines of each and every park. It's for everyone's enjoyment and safety. At this park there's a sign at the entrance of the pier: No fishing allowed from the pier. Lo and behold, there were a family fishing w little kids. Great view of the river and it has a portapottie. Shaded areas for sitting and reading. There's a ramp for boats, I assume for the neighbors who owns boats. Cute...
