Washington Park — Attraction in Perth Amboy

I've seen the park only once or twice, the last time being around 2008 when I asked my father to take me there. My father grew up on Weirup Street in the 1930s and 40s. Years later, he filled me with Depression era stories of all-day baseball and football games in Washington Park, from sun up to sun down. No technology. Just fun and games in the sun and great outdoors. I suppose it was a different era, but it's left me feeling envious of the simple good times he had. Nice park with great space available , basketball courts, playgrounds, baseball field, Security, dog friendly and parking lot!! We went there since they had an event with a lot of activities and games for families and kids , plus information about some organizations some free food and Snacks....
