Decent little skatepark, considering. Was in the area for vacation looking for a good spot to skate. There's not much inside of an hour drive, but this is the best option. There was another park in Charlevoix that has limited hours and costs a few bucks to enter. This park, however, is free, always open, and has enough to get in a good session. The mini ramp is in OK condition and the pre-fab ramps are all holding up well. There's enough variety to enjoy yourself if you're a more experienced skater, including a small street-style curb. All and all; if you can skate all the parks in the area (Charlevoix, Petoskey and Harbour Springs) it's worth a trip or two! Unfortunately this was the only one I was...

Good access or pickup point for Best river. Beach Volley ball courts with sand floors. Good access to the downtown route of the North County(star?) Trail. Large parking that is rarely if ever full. It's not Destination park, but good spot to walk your dog, park the car and do something...
