I was very nervous about coming here specifically because I was afraid they would not have something for us lovely plus size brides to try on. Not because I heard anything negative just horror stories from other stores. So I went into this experience with some reservations that were very quickly put to rest. The store, while small, was very clean and spacious and had so many beautiful gowns and plenty for the curvy girls to try on! I had a lovely experience with my mom and sister and that is mostly to do with Angela G's energy. She was very upbeat, kind, patient and gave a lot of advice. She said to go into it with an open mind and that's what I did. She made me feel very comfortable trying on gowns. She asked a lot of really good questions to get the vibe of me and my fiance as well as just genuine interest in my life, which is always nice. I did not end up purchasing a dress the day I went only due to figuring out finances, but I was back in the store a few days later and bought my dream dress! I am so excited to wear an amazing gown attached to so many lovely experiences. Angela G was a huge part of my experience and I love her, to say the least. I will be picking up my dress later this year and I will be sending her pictures after my event! Again, I went into the experience with a chip on my shoulder and left with finding my dream dress and another person to support me in the adventure. I highly recommend visiting here and letting the amazing staff help you. Even if you do not find a gown the experience itself was worth it. I had an incredibly experience, AND found my dress during my first visit here! It was a relaxing, enjoyable, stress-free and pressure- free afternoon in an elegant and professional environment! Everyone I talked to via phone to set up my appointment was friendly, genuine, and professional. In particular, I highly recommend my stylist, Carley, who spent 3+ hours with me/us, and never wavered in her positivity and enthusiasm! I had been dress shopping prior to my trip to Petoskey Bridal and Carley is the best I have seen. She is excellent at her job, clearly enjoys it, and doesn’t pressure but naturally fascilitated me toward my goal. In the first 2 minutes of our visit she had eliminated my stress, gotten me excited, and clearly shown that she was excited to help me make progress towards finding a perfect dress for me- whether that meant buying that day or just discovering the right style(s). She incorporated my suggestions and those of my guests effortlessly as she guided the session. She helped me in trying dresses both within and outside my ‘comfort zone’. She appreciated and effortlessly accommodated my 8(!) relatives who came with me. My goal was to identify some styles I loved, and I left with the perfect dress! Carley is the best example I have ever encountered of a salesperson who understands that it’s genuineness, passion for the product, and professionalism that sell goods/services, not pressure. Best bridal experience ever 🥰 Chelsea was so nice and she made it easy to feel comfortable. She answered any and every question I had, helped me with every dress I tried on so it fit the way it was supposed to, and even helped me talk and come up with some ideas for my hair and shoes! The shop itself was beautiful and they had a wide variety of dresses which was amazing! But honestly the thing that completely the visit the most was all the nice employees. I’m so thankful to have went there to find my dream dress and veil 🥰❤️ July can’t come fast enough! Thank you so much!!!

Update! We went back and met with Brenda about Tuxedos for the groom and groomsmen. She answered every question we had! Helped us out when we were having a hard time deciding on how to make the groom stand out but not stand out too much, and even helped us figure out how and when to get all the guys in for measurements! The tuxedos looked absolutely amazing! She dropped them off to us, but that could’ve been because she was in my wedding party I’m not sure if they do deliver but I loved that they allowed her to! I’d say it’s definitely something you could probably ask about but don’t quote me on it! 😅
