Dominican Beauty Salon — Attraction in Philadelphia

Came to the salon at 11:30am (no appointment). Expected a wait. Was not greeted or asked what I wanted before they just washed my hair (which I didn’t ask for). I asked for a specific hair dye. I DID NOT get ANYTHING close to what I asked for. I asked for dark brown with the bottom fading into two lighter browns. I got freaking orange/brown hair. Not only that. But I did not leave that salon until 7pm! 8 HOURS LATER! for a 2-3 hour job. No one offered water, no one asked if I was hungry or needed to grab food. No vending machine available. The person took SEVERAL clients in between doing my hair leaving me to sit with the dye on my head and I’m the heat chairs longer than necessary. She also left one side of my head to sit with the dye longer than the other side because of her juggling the multiple clients! Then had the nerve to charge me 175$ for keeping me hostage for EIGHT HOURS! Not only did they charge me 175$, keep me for 8 hours, THEY ALSO CHARGE YOU AN ADDITIONAL $6 FOR USING YOUR CARD AND NOT CASH. WHICH they do not tell you or advertise in the store. Though this was my third time going, I will not be returning to this location. It was the worst hair experience and I don’t even like how she left my hair, I paid ONLY bc I got my hair colored and honestly I wish I would’ve walked out and not paid bc I am NOT SATISFIED WITH MY HAIR AT ALL. Totally unprofessional , my daughter and I went there this morning so she can get her hair done for her banquet and graduation. We walk in the shop it's just and maybe 7-8 stylists in there the one in the very front directs my baby ( and I use that term very lightly) towards two Shampoo station's so my baby sits down and now hear is where I really held my peace .....As I am about to sit down I noticed that nobody is getting up and they're looking around at each other in the face like: "who getting up"?! With the side eyes ... My baby is starting to get embarrassed because as they are still sitting at their station!!!! Now the looks on some of them become a look of : "oh I'm not touching her hair !! " , Who touching it!? ,cause I'm not!... .....So finally as not to embarrass my baby or my self respect... I got up and told my baby let's go!!!......And we walked out!!.....

If you have any self respect don't let them treat you like your trash that stinks...Spend your money else where.... I would spend my money in that place even if it would end world hunger!!! And I wouldn't get my hair done in there if they said I would get a free life time supply of hair styles!!! ....I'm just so thankful it was empty and my baby did not have to be humiliated!!!!...... These people don't listen, it's like they hearing fast, second time I've been here to get my hair dyed washed and pressed, both times they did it the opposite of the way I requested, this time a total different color, they aren't focused, doing a lot of talking eating and singing while I'm sitting in the chair for 3 hours to get my hair dyed , it took her a hour to start my hair, & looked me dead in my face and turn around continue talking eating and singing like she don't know, I'm still here, now I'm sitting here and have to wait another hour and 30, to get my hair blow dried and curled , they services fit the location they are located in , poor services , nasty attitudes , last time she mess my hair up and charged me to fix it , horrible and I just got done my hair I put my phone down and said if my hair was cool I wouldn't do a review but my hair is ugly they put this Dominican bump on my ends, and it's black dye all over my face and ears it's just horrible they don't listen they rush , God was never in a rush, y'all need to...
