Loosen Up! Massage & Facial Spa — Attraction in Philadelphia

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I called today to make an appointment and I was asked for my telephone number, before I can even give my number the person responded OH WE HAVE YOU DOWN AS A NON TIPPER! I explained that this would have been my second time coming to this establishment and originally I tipped 15 dollars when I was there. He goes on to say someone put it down in the notes wrong and then proceeded to book me. I said no thank you i rather not book anymore and hung up. This was by far the rudest most embarrassing thing to be FALSELY ACCUSED OF. Let’s just say that was the case and I did not tip I still paid 50 dollars, it could of been my absolute last penny to my name or I could have not like the service by that particular staff member. Needless to say this place is very unprofessional and discriminates against people that may not be able to tip. Although I did tip I was highly humiliated for something I didn’t even do. First time visit. Massage was great BUT prior to Massage a tip was asked for from my partner which he was upset about because it should have been his choice or mine to tip depending on how good I thought it was after the Massage. I was taken back before he even made payment so I didn't know he had tipped. When it was all said and done I gave a tip of $15.00 which the lady took and ran back in the room. The other lady said after the fact that my partner had tipped already and took the money and guided me out. The money wasn't even offered back. They were very Shady on how they did this. I didn't tell my partner because he would have been furious knowing they got tipped twice. For it being the first time that doesn't look good on their part and I will not be returning. I appreciated that we needed to change the time on a Tuesday and they were accommodating however, we ran into a distasteful issue when it was time to pay for services when we were told our tip wasn’t enough. They also have a “funny” off putting sign that read “$5 is a shitty tip.” Yes it’s “funny” but we tipped $20 and were still met with a rude attitude. I had ever intention on booking again but when I was met with an attitude about my tip, looks like I won’t be doing that again. I’ve never had anyone do that before and it completely turned me off. If you’re not a big tipper, I don’t think this is the place for you. Lastly, one of the workers was sick and kept blowing her nose and sniffling during my massage.
