Cultivate Hair Salon — Attraction in Phoenix

I received cut, partial balayage, and gloss/toner done by Nicole and I am absolutely disappointed! My hair looked nice at the end of my appointment and that was about it. Once I washed it the toner completely disappeared within a week and I was left with chunky placement of yellow brassy tones instead of the cool brunette I asked for. I reached out to her and she only said to use a blue shampoo, which did absolutely nothing, she didn’t offer to fix it or anything. Then I texted again, after having it fixed elsewhere, for a refund because I had to pay full price for another stylist to fix her mistakes and she told me there was nothing She could do and it was my hairs fault for not holding the color. Which makes absolutely no sense because my hair held the toner once another stylist fixed it, so it was clearly a mistake in her application. I understand that people make mistakes and I wanted to work things out without having to leave a nasty review but the lack of customer service was absolutely terrible and they didn’t own up to anything. Instead she blamed my hair for not holding the color when a toner should last for at least a month. Im absolutely disappointed at the owner and the stylist for how they handled the situation and I would not recommend this...

Taylor is amazing!! We texted prior to the appt about what I was looking to get done and I sent her inspo pictures, along with pictures of my hair, which felt like it really prepared us for the appt so we could get started immediately! She gave me her professional opinion while also listening to what I wanted which meant a lot. She took the time to dye my halo extensions and put them in and make sure I was happy with their color. After coloring my hair, she made sure I loved it and offered to make any changes if I didn’t. I greatly appreciate when stylist make it known that they want you to be happy with your hair before you leave! All the women in the salon felt personable and I felt comfortable while being there. Her prices were extremely reasonable and I would recommend her to anyone! I was smiling when I left because I loved my hair so much right...

Cultivate is truly the only salon I will EVER wholeheartedly trust with my hair. I have gone to Cultivate for the last 6 years and have always walked away with the hair of my DREAMS and all my expectations exceeded! Shelby and all of her stylists (Bree, Clarissa, Abby, etc) are all immensely talented and do not just simply do hair for a living, but rather they create ART. Every stylist’s work is gorgeous and a labor of love. I am so thoroughly pleased with my hair every time that, no matter what state I live in, I will always get my hair done at Cultivate when I am in town- I truly am their biggest fan and will not get my hair done anywhere else.
