D'Image Beauty College — Attraction in Phoenix

I've came here several of times with my 3 year old daughter.The girls are friendly and the wait time is ok. I decided to come in today to get a haircut again and get my eyebrows waxed. I was told by the woman at the front desk that they were short staffed but I decided to wait anyways... When they called my name after about 30 mins, one of the teachers was there and she asked me if I brought someone who could watch my daughter. Obviously not because everytime I go, my daughter sits on the chair next to us and they wax my eyebrows. So she said I couldn't go back there and they wouldn't wax my eyebrows. She was so unprofessional and obviously having a bad day. I mentioned that the front desk lady should have said that and how come they had allowed it before and now she was making a big deal out of it... I decided not to argue with her and just leave. I'm very dissapointed in how I was treated today. I come here because I prefer to pay a school to support their students instead of paying some other salon. She didn't even apologize and made me feel like I was wasting her time. Even some family members went there because I recommended the school and we're never...

I really enjoyed my visit to D'image BC. My manicure and pedicure technicians did a wonderful job, and we talked the entire time. They took their time, removed my gel polish, shaped my toe nails, moisturized my dry cuticles, soaked my feet, massaged my feet, and polished my nails with my color of choice. I couldn't ask for anything more than the superb service I received. I found the business overall to be welcoming and VERY professional. What I did different from the rest of you? I called ahead, and communicated what I needed and made sure they had the time to do it. When I arrived, I was taken to do my service within 20min. The key here is communication! And understanding that you are utilizing the services of a school, you need to have patience with them, and be polite. Also, have realistic expectations, they are students, and you need to work with them. With these small tips, your visit to D'image will be very enjoyable and smooth. I came for a simple trim and I left with a full haircut. My hair was almost to my waist and when I left my hair was below my shoulders. I asked for 1.5 inches to be taken off and I don't know how that translated to cutting more. The student even showed me how much she was going to cut and I even told her less. I understand these are students, but the instructor should have been supervising and well that didn’t happen. They either need to supervise their students better or teach exactly what the client is asking and measurements. This was really upsetting.
