UPDATE 04/07 9:41 P.M. - You guys need to fire whoever you have taking orders in the drive through and at the window! I come here all the time for years, never have I ever encountered someone so RUDE here. We were ordering and before we could finish a sentence this lady would be like “anything else” over and over again even if we told her give us a second and even when we ignored her. We could barely talk to each other about what we wanted because she kept asking loudly every 2 seconds “anything else”. Then we get to the window and she has an ugly attitude, I asked her to please read back my order so we can make sure she added the extra cheese and she reads it back perfectly, cool. Then she turns around and talks out loud “you’ll never catch me slipping, never that honey”. Just ghetto trash. I hope we don’t see her ever again, she doesn’t belong in customer service she needs to be in a position not dealing with people, or better yet fired. I’m not for people losing their jobs especially in this economy but she acted so ugly from the beginning completely unprovoked. Literallly bullying customers who keep this business open and help put a paycheck in her pocket. Younger big girl with long hair, no makeup. 9:53 I just called and the girl in the drive through picked up the phone, I recognized her voice. I asked if there was a manager on duty she puts me on hold for 2 seconds, comes back to the phone and says she’s the manager and asks how she can help. I ask her about the male manager, where he was at and if he would be in tomorrow. She said he wouldn’t be in tomorrow, so I said okay cool you’re the new manager what’s your name? She doesn’t answer me, asks if there’s a problem and I repeat myself, what’s your name? She stays quiet, refuses to answer me when I say hello so I hang up. I’ll be contacting the male manager I have spoken to in the past about how much I love this place and make sure he knows how his employee is behaving and impersonating a manager. She knows how she treated us was wrong that’s why she was on the phone pretending to be a manager.

Read moreI traveled from mesa because of the reviews and how highly recommended this place was talked about from different family members as well as social media. At first they seemed friendly and kind. Food was at minimum tolerable. I ordered a basket of chicken tenders that came with very large plate of hard and cold fries. For a better visual of the fries when I tried to bite into them I was physically unable to. They were as hard as rocks. So hard my fingers could NOT squish or crush them. I also had a chili cheeseburger that was unseasoned. Had no flavor. I sat and tried to enjoy what I could and by the end of my meal I had sent my husband to ask for better quality of fries to take home. When my husband approached the counter asking for a reorder the front girls when dumbfounded by his request. So the cook a short heavy set young Mexican boy with black glasses approaches the counter and asked what was the issue. My husband tried to explain to him that the fries were cold and couldn’t even be squeezed. The cook said “well why did you wait so long to come up here and say something?” My husband tried to be polite and said if we could just get a small bag of fries in replacement of our large order. The cook again was rude and argumentative trying to say the fries were just cold thats why they were hard . So I walked up gave him a visual from another fry for my husband’s plate. I showed him how easy it was to squish it because it was soft from sitting and tried my best to squeeze one of my fries that took much effort to CRACK INTO PIECES. He again said “well whyd you wait so long? “ I ignored his smart remark and asked for a refund. He quickly told me no . I was about to go into policy about where it said no refunds or all sales final but my husband interjected and said look we simply want our fries redone. The cook again rudely turned to me and said well it looked like you enjoyed your food. At that point I just walked away to not feed into his unprofessionalism and disrespect. Over all the food was trash, service was trash and I will detour ANYONE else from coming here. Or having to experience what I experienced here. Not worth the hassle. Better off going to McDonald’s where they at least have...

There’s something special about places that stand the test of time, and Burger Shoppe is one of them. A quaint establishment with an inviting atmosphere, this spot has been serving up comfort and quality for years. The moment I stepped up to the counter, I was greeted with a warm smile and a kind hello—true hospitality at its finest.
I could see my food being prepared right behind the woman taking my order, the tantalizing aroma filling the air. Every bite was made to order, and the care put into each dish was evident. Since it was my nephew’s first time here—and my first visit in over a decade—I wanted something memorable. Burger Shoppe did not disappoint.
My nephew’s double bacon cheeseburger was a masterpiece: half a pound of juicy, flavorful beef, crispy bacon, and gooey cheese, paired with perfectly crispy, lightly salted fries. I also ordered zucchini, expecting a small portion, but what arrived was impressively generous. The house-made ranch complemented it perfectly, rich and full of flavor.
For myself, I chose a gyro with extra tzatziki. The sauce was light yet refreshing, and the pita held up beautifully, maintaining its integrity despite the generous portion. It was so filling that even my niece got to enjoy some. And then, the star of nostalgia—the chili cheese dog. Far from the usual flimsy fare, this was an all-beef hot dog, thick and satisfying, nestled in a warm, soft bun and smothered in chili sauce and cheese. The first bite alone took me back, reminding me of flavors I hadn’t enjoyed in ages.
Burger Shoppe, or Burgers and More, you’ve earned a lifelong fan. Thank you for continuing to do what you do best—serving amazing food with a side of kindness. I’ll be back, and next time, I’m bringing even more family...
