AZ Outlet in North Phoenix – If You Didn’t Tell Me, I’d Think It Had Closed Down

We attended the annual tree lighting and had a blast! The tree was absolutely huge and they brought live performers and really made it an event! They had people directing traffic and keeping things organized. I was able impressed! The mall itself was really cool, it's an outlet mall so there are allot of savings to be had. The food court had a large number of restaurants to choose from and we're able to accommodate the large number of people who were there. We had a great experience and will be back when things aren't so crazy! We did notice a large number of empty stores sadly. I hope that more companies move in to fill it up again. This was our first time in Anthem and we will be returning to get a better look at the town.

“Been in Phoenix for 6 years, and people always mentioned this outlet… but no one warned me how empty it feels.” There’s a small food court with the usual suspects: Boba shop, Auntie Anne’s, Chinese food, and Charleys Cheesesteaks. The stores I saw open were Bath & Body Works, Coach, Nike, Michael Kors, and Calvin Klein… and that’s pretty much it. I had to stop walking around — it was just too sad seeing all the empty storefronts. Not sure if I came on an off day or if this is just what it is now, but it gave “ghost town in retail form” vibes.

Outlet stores they have better pricing sometimes they have what you want if you know what store you want it from if they don't have it they can get it for you quickly and the food court is amazing the mall is amazing it's all outside which in Arizona doesn't seem like a good idea but really they keep you cool with shade and mistress they have a huge play area for the kids and doing Christmas they have a ridiculously huge Christmas tree that you can see from the highway as you're driving by the bathrooms are second to none the beautiful bathrooms just the fact that I'm mentioning the bathrooms means that they are beautiful I've never seen a men's restroom that I went wow that's a cool bathroom that's a beautiful bathroom well it is beautiful my wife says that the women's restroom has a separate room in it for breastfeeding mothers so you don't have to feel like people are watching you I guess which is wrong but that's different subject but it's still awesome that they have that there for the ladies who are breastfeeding and I love going to this mall if you're visiting Arizona driving through Arizona thinking about coming to Arizona you should try and go here even if it's just for shopping in your favorite...

I called the polo store in Anthem to see if they had a shirt I was looking for. I talked to the manager Natalie, she told me she would hold it for me.I drive 30 minutes to buy the shirt, when I get there it's the wrong shirt.I gave a perfect description so there was no reason for the confusion. I told the cashier who was an older lady, that I wanted to speak to the manager, she told me no that she was going to handle the situation. Me and her were going back and forth, for some reason she didn't want to get the manager. She started being rude and getting loud so I reacted and started raising my voice, and then a couple of customers butted in and telling me to calm down. All this started from the older female cashier wouldn't get the manager. When the manager finally did come I was trying to talk to the manager, the older female employee butted in and told me it was my fault that I drove there for no reason. All I was trying to do was get compensated for driving 30 minutes when I was told they had the shirt, and they didn't. So what I'm trying to say is people should but out of other people's situations and when someone ask for a manager get the manager, if she would've got the manager there would've...

When it comes to "outlet" shopping, I'm definitely not much of fan.

Years ago, shopping outlets was a sure way to get lower-than-retail prices on clothing and goods. Unfortunately, lower prices are not usually the case in today's outlet shopping experience. Plus, the merchandise in an "outlet" is often not the same goods offered in the "mall" counterpart. So, the quality for dollar spent is questionable.

However, if you enjoy visiting a wide variety of retail shopping at one location, Outlets at Anthem is a nice, well-maintained retail shopping center located in a relatively safe community.

The Food Court offers a pleasant variety of food choices. In fact, it is one of the nicest food courts I have experienced in an outlet shopping center.

Although all shops have air conditioning, walking outdoors between shops can be extremely challenging during the brutal summers months in Phoenix.

All-in-all, if you haven't become an Amazon convert, and still enjoy the physical aspect of shopping -- Outlets at Anthem is a...
