Started going back to church and the only thing at the Spanish mass at noon. A lot of people are talking. It’s rude and not polite. And I’m not putting nobody down I go there because my husband Spanish-speaking and I speak English but I grew up catholic going to Saint Agnes and the church is totally different. There’s a lot of Latinos going, which is great because back then it was empty and I’m glad there’s a lot of people but the only thing is that people shouldn’t be talking I am there to listen to mass and today I could barely hear the priest I did turn around and I gave this girl a look, and I told her to be quiet and to shut her phone off because Gid died on the cross for us and she should shut up for one hour and respect the church and everybody else that does go to church to listen I think that you guys should please do an announcement to have the cell phones off and people should not be talking during mass it’s rude...
Read moreThey helped me with a food box one time, it took awhile to b deltvered but I got a call from them around Christmas time saying bcoz we had little childrens, we were put on a list to b sponsored by a company to recieve gifts that we couldn't otherwise afford. They came with like 4 huge bag fulls of toys and gifts for us the parents and the shocking part was at the end the lady handed me an envelope n when I opened it was a card with five hundred dollars...they absolutely made a difference for me and my family....thank...
Read more+JMJ...What a JOY to find so many Catholic Churches during my visits to Phoenix. St Agnes is a lovely little Church which is another house of worship and prayer filled with many images meant to make the mind transcend worldly bondage and pursuits. Very simple in its decor but it does house many side altars with statues depicting many friends (we call them Saints) of Jesus Christ whom we believe to have finished their earthly pilgrimage and are now in Heaven for all eternity!
