Arizona Authentic Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

I've ordered pizza here about four times. Maybe three. Anyway, I'm always happy with the pizza, and I've had only 1 bad experience, that was today.

I ordered my pizza through the website as I prefer, and I waited. It was a 45 minute estimated wait, no biggy, it's a Saturday evening, I can wait. I didn't notice that it was late. No call came in. About ten minutes past the delivery time I got a call telling me that I need to be more attentive or they wouldn't keep delivering to me.

I receive only that call - but I have zero doubts that there were attempts. I received no text messages, no voicemails. I did receive an email telling me I missed my delivery, but I hadn't gotten any kind of useful notification about it on my laptop - where I was enjoying a Kid Danger video fest.

The manager was very irate that he failed to deliver my pizza. I have a locked gate - I cannot do much about that, as I live in an apartment. I was not told the pizza was coming, and I received no call and no text message. I admit I got lost in what I was doing - and frankly I never believe delivery times anyway - so I didn't notice it was late.

The website never updated to being delivered. I'm sorry, but there was a breakdown in communication that I cannot be held to blame for. Manager, whoever you are, you were rude. Your pizza is good, and my past experiences will bring me back - but learn to be patient and deferential. You were an asshat.

Overall, order here - but be prepared to deal with an angry little man who thinks he's important. I don't care how busy you are - I bought, you bring. Want my attention, try harder. I can't control if the network decides not to connect us - is it my fault or yours?...

We got a med Hawaiian and 2 Litre bottle of coke for $10, then decided to get 10 med heat hot wings. The pizza was hot and crisp, the sauce was zesty (I'll get extra sauce next time). It was cheesy and loaded with toppings. The wings were nicely cooked, covered in sauce, not overly spicy and hot enough we had to let them cool to eat. The guy gave me a small side cup of the "hot" wing sauce and it wasn't too hot but sweated my brow and gave me the sniffles! I liked them; nice flavor! Not sure if they deliver but I heard them taking orders and people were frequently stopping in to pick up their orders. They're not setup to accommodate large parties but me and my wife sat outside and enjoyed a couple of slices while everything was hot and gooey! The pizza would've been enough for the two of us, but with the wings and soda, we brought home enough leftovers for a snack for later. I'm glad we found the place, thank you for the great service and delicious pizza!

I will recommend this place and I plan to return.

I was searching one day on google for cheap local pizza and stumbled upon Arizona Authentic Pizza and decided to give it a try. As a single mom, the price and daily special of 5.99 for a pepperoni couldn’t be beat. So, I caved in. Amazing pizza, friendly staff (I saw an older gentlemen and 2 young teens. Guessing it’s the father and children? Not sure.)

The pizza was nice and greasy (not too greasy, just the right amount.) Cheesy and the bread and crust was delicious. I have a Little Cesar’s about 3 blocks from me and I always go to Authentic Arizona Pizza instead despite it being farther away from me because it’s really that good.

My only complaint is that they sometimes pizza doesn’t have a lot of sauce as I personally like it but when I call to place my order, I just ask them to put enough sauce because it can be a little dry sometimes and they do it with no problem. I do believe this place is family owned though please correct me if I’m wrong. Very nice people, good pizza and great pricing! Highly recommend for...
