The venue was too small for as many people as there were. It made the show a bit less entertaining and more stressful. Most of the patrons are respectful of others but then there are always a few disrespectful folks who will elbow you or lean up against you while blocking your view. If you're into spacious venues that allow movement, this is not it. I had to play bouncer to force younger folks off a few older adults that were quickly being smashed against the wall and nearly knocked off the stools by the back wall. These people did not care one bit nor were they listening to the pleas for them to please move until I stepped in to tell them they needed to move away. I was not impressed with the lack of concern for how many people they allowed into the venue.
I wish this venue was a bit more thoughtful to ensure safety of the patrons. I suggest adjusting the floorplan to allow more space between people. I understand it's a business but be aware of the lack of care. Too many people in the walk-ways and stacked on top of one another . It seriously felt like sardines in a tiny can.
The music was AMAZING and the sound was epic. I stayed as long as I could pushed up against the wall. I finally ended up leaving because of the disrespectful crowd. The staff wouldn't have been able to manage the large amount of people.

Read moreLove the place Love the bartender that's been there forever 💕 the bands they book are great... I've been coming here for over 20 years.. Only problem, I mean lately.... Is ther sound guy...he has no idea what he's doing.. it's been a couple years now since the sound has been any good... Hopefully Bob can fix this problem it's not the volume... It's not the PA or the system... it's the EQ You've got to get a sound person that knows what they're doing... They don't even understand the difference between mains and monitors when they are doing EQ or trying to control feedback... The mains do not make your feedback it's your monitors you don't have to mute everything till you can't hear a vocal.... It's hurting your business. Makes me less inclined to come as often as I used to and I love the place...jeez. I love what Bob's done for the blues genre and all the musicians that you've helped over the years... They deserve better than the sound they're getting today from the amateurs that are running your system. It's hard to watch the sound quality disintegrate over the last few years. Everything this place has done has been great except for this ; right now people sound bad when they play there and it's not their fault. ...
