Went during the Second Annual Halloween Festival. Had gone to the first one and had a blast, so brought other family with us and had an even BETTER time! Love that they had revived Mr. Cason's Vegetable Garden (now Mr. Cason's Corn Maze!) and thought it was tastefully done, and VERY happy to see that they had plans for further revivals. Maybe they will bring back the Plant Petting Zoo? (And if you haven't already been to a corn maze with color changing led flood lights and disco music, can you even say that you do Halloween?! LOL) The first year they didn't have much in the way of souvenirs, no where near what they have during Christmas, and this year wasn't a whole lot better. But they did have a decent selection for the kids, and discounted seasonal stuff from other gift shops on site. Was thinking the reason why the meager selection was due to them not knowing if it was going to be a hit or not. It's the novelty and experience!), and THEN after sunset go do the haunted trail. Don't forget, they have glow-in-the-dark/blacklight putt-putt golf! Great family entertainment, on par with the high standards you have come to expect from Callaway...

A 16 oz bottle of water is $4, 1 can beer $6 and cocktail drinks start at $10. They take only cash or cc, no applepay, can you believe that... A stash of cash or credit card and you'll actually have a...

There are bathrooms, three venders serving food, and several small attractions around that can be enjoyed outside of just swimming in the lake. I however miss the model ride on railway that has been replaced with a imitation golf cart "train". Parking is basically right on the lake with almost no walking required. However there is...
