I have shopped here regularly for many years. In the past year I have regularly been buying their Boston lettuce. It has a price of $2.49 noted on the shelf. I realized after buying the lettuce a number of times that I was being charged $2.69 at the register. I brought it to the attention of the cashier a number of times and after a lengthy wait for them to verify I wasn’t trying to cheat them they would adjust the price. I also bought it to the attention of the office clerk and asked them to either correct it in their system or change the sign on the shelf. After going through the same process several more times with no change to the price in their system or on the shelf I decided that I would force the issue by paying the wrong price and then taking the receipt to their office and getting a refund for the full purchase price. To my surprise, unlike other stores in the area that give a refund if they mis-mark or overcharge the customer ( giant Eagle,shop-n-save) apparently Kuhns policy for ripping their customers off is to just give them back the difference ( if you catch them). How many times did I pay the wrong price? Many times. How many other people have been ripped off buying that lettuce? When I was told their policy was to just give back the difference I told them to keep the lettuce and give me my money back. I won’t go back to this store. Fool me once….. If you decide to shop there check the prices on the shelves against your receipt. Who knows what other ways they are ripping off their customers and don’t buy the...
Read moreI had an absolute terrible experience with kuhns two times in a row I used to love this place and I love spending money with small businesses in my community but issues like this make it very hard I place an order online for $230 got flag for fraud alert on their end I dealt with that handled the situation and I had to remake an account and redo everything and redo the order all over and then this time I decided to spend more money and it cost $287 and they decided not to give me a phone call so the fraud alert was prevented and just go ahead and went and cancelled my order so now I'm out all this money for 7 to 10 business days and can't get any food for my children so I recommend you going to anywhere else other than here to place your online food orders I've done that at Walmart numerous times Target numerous times for over $500 and never had this kind of issue so needless to say I will never be stepping foot back into the store and I speak for my family as well and we spend a lot of money there but obviously we're not important and there was nothing done to rectify the situation nobody tried to help nothing it was just a lost cause if you don't want to have all kind of pending transactions and stuff on your card and have money taken out and not available I recommend you going...
Read moreJust a basic grocery store, but staff is a problem. My last visit was myself, a newborn, and my one year old. I put them both in a shopping cart and BEFORE getting any grocerys, brought them into the bathroom with me to change them. I had no items with me, and couldn't take the kids out of the cart unless I wanted to put my one year old directly on the floor (which definitely isn't clean). Immediately I was yelled at by an employee who was still in a stall using the bathroom that I needed to leave as carts weren't allowed. I apologized and explained that it was empty except for my kids. She very rudely told me that was too bad and to get out. I told her she obviously didn't have kids or would understand the dilemma, especially since they dont have a changing station or place that I could've put them down. She laughed at me and said again to "get out". I didnt see her or get her name as she never came out of the stall, but the interaction was enough to make me not go back, especially as it isnt the first ive had...
