Regrettably, Andrew declined to renew my guest pass because I didn’t have a library card, and Erick displayed a limited willingness to assist, not just me, but some other visitors that were interested in his help. This underscores the importance of fostering an inclusive and fair environment, where judgments are not based on appearances.

Read moreIf you love it when your calls don't get picked up, this is the place for you. Biggest hassle for the simplest of questions. Circulation desk never picks up. And they do an extremely poor job of informing the public when they are closed or not, instead their solution is to hide the phones and give the cold shoulder. It shouldn't be that hard to update the google page and/or the automated machine when you call (what people look/go to the most). The lack of consideration/communication is appalling. Im servery upset to think this is the public library im constrained to. No summer reading for the Plainfield youth i guess....
