💬 OVERVIEW - 5.0 Came here on a Saturday to celebrate our daughter's friend's birthday.

🗺️ LOCATION - The Manila Creek Park is rather well hidden deep within American Fork, that we were only able to find through the use of Google Maps.

💲 PRICE - N/A There was no charge for coming to the park, but it is likely hidden within local taxes.

🏞️ PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5 I really enjoyed this park as there is a nice massive pond within it and a little beach to go with it.

📢 POINTERS/PERKS - N/A I'm sure there are some, but not sure what they'd be rather than if it is real hot, you may not want to come here as everyone else likely will be here. However, you may want to bring a swimsuit if you plan on wading in the water, or bring some water toys.

🧔 EMPLOYEES - N/A While we were at the park on a Saturday, we didn't see any employees. I'm sure the lawn doesn't cut itself, and the pond was clean, but everything appeared to be...

Have fished here on and off over the years. The facilities for powering your catch to take home (fish cleaning station) are a plus, though we mostly catch and release these days. Rocky bottom that tends to eat rigs (if you cast weight to the bottom: bottom rig, drop shop, Texas and Carolina rigs, etc.) - suspending under a float might be a better option if you are bait fishing. Also the vegetation and algae were a lot higher this last trip than we have experienced in the past; the are a couple of aeration pumps/fountains in the pond, but it clearly could use more flow through to keep the vegetation growth in check. We generally catch panfish and stocked trout here. There are a few LM bass cruising the pond as well. The small, elevated impoundment at the east end is really shallow and weedy - stick to the main pond for...

We planned a family get together and wanted to rent a Pavilion at Manila Creek Park, due to a mix up on the Parks and Rec website we rented a Pavilion at Discovery (Manila) Park. The Parks and Rec were understanding of our mistake, and were able to credit us. We had our family get together at Manila Creek Pond and it was a super fun time. It is a small, clean and beautiful park with a really cool pond. The littles kiddos loved wading in the pond on a really nice beach area. The fishermen in the family were able to fish, which was great. We were able to use the small Pavilion and it worked out great. The parking and restrooms were good as well. I look forward to going back to this...

They had quite an odd, peculiar duck/turkey. This odd fellow straight looked like it got tore up in a fight. The feathers looked loose and were flapping in the wind. Then you see the face. Looked like a burn victim/turkey face. My daughter named the species a Durkey, lol. Come to find out. It is a true full bred duck. Called the Muscovy duck. They are HuGe! They may be aggressive. So do not approach it. The photo I have added, is of the Durkey a.k.a Muscovy and 2 Mallard's. Notice how close they are to each other. That helps you see the difference in the 2 sizes. The Durkey is by far double a Mallard, maybe even bigger. By far the most odd animal I've seen in my life!
