Stonegate Weddings and Events is definitely the venue to go with. First off, the owner Jennie, is the kindest person you will meet. You can feel the genuine care and love she has for her venue and the couples using it. She is organized, answers all questions, and is great at responding quickly. She gave us an amazing tour and was so hopeful during the contract process. She was flexible, and still remained available for help or questions if I could not get in contact with her wedding planner. She helps provide a list of vendors, there are hotels nearby you can get a discount with by speaking with her, and the venue is stunning. We did a ring ceremony in the candlelit chapel, and our reception was in the grand ballroom. The ring ceremony seats 120, but our guests were allowed to stand by the doorway that arrived late and didn’t have a seat. The grand ballroom is absolutely lovely. The lighting is very romantic and soft but not dark, the room is big and spacious, and the furniture is elegant and matches the theme of the room. They provide tablecloths and runners and have a large selection available to choose from. They have additional décor such as easels, fake florals, vases, candles, fake greenery, and more to use if desired. There was more than enough room for our guests, and our guests were extremely impressed by the venue. Outside the venue its very beautiful with a lovely entrance, there’s additional free parking in the next door lot across the street, and they have a lovely garden area where you can take pictures as well. The food was delicious, they only do in house catering, but it was super good and we loved our choices! Everything about it was perfect, I highly recommend going with Stonegates as your venue!!! Brenda was a lovely wedding planner. I know that some people get nervous with the planner vendors provide – don’t be. Brenda is kind, polite, and radiates genuine enthusiasm about your wedding. She was very professional and super responsive to all emails and messages, and patient with my endless questions! She was great at following up on questions and with reminders for meetings, and she was very flexible and accommodating. She respects the brides preferences for décor and arrangement. She’s very organized, and the day of the wedding she was such a huge help. She found kind and polite ways to draw us away from conversations so we could eat, use the restroom, or do the next activity like the cake cutting. She was very on top of the schedule, and when I panicked because of a mistake in events (mine not hers), she was so quick to reassure me and provide a solution that turned out to be better for us and the guests. Read moreWe had the most amazing day for my daughters wedding. After touring about 10 different reception centers months ago, we just weren’t feeling it. Why we didn’t go to Stone Gate first is a mystery to us all. After visiting with them, we knew this was the place for us. We have had 4 daughters get married and nothing was as stress free and complete as what we got from Stone Gate. Jennie - the owner was fantastic to work with. Brenda was our wedding planner. This is included in the price! She was amazing. She met with us a couple of times beforehand to make sure she was going to provide everything my daughter had ever dreamed of. She worked her butt off for us in planning and on the entire day of the event. We had our luncheon there and also our reception. Absolutely no regrets. In fact, friends and family are telling us it was the best reception they’ve ever attended. The most organized, most beautiful, best food, and most fun. Read moreEXPERIENCE: Jennie, the owner is awesome! She was so helpful from the first day we came to see the venue. The room was beautifully set up and had the exact colors my daughter wanted. They easily accommodated 100ppl for dinner and then an additional 150 for the reception. I was SO thankful not to have to do any set up or take down! Being from out of town, that would have been far too stressful! My daughter really wanted an ice-cream bar and wanted her favorite brand of ice-cream (Tillamook) and they made sure to provide that for her. Her cake table was set up just perfectly. Thank you! I'm not sure who was supposed to play the video they had prepared, but that didn't get played which was sad.
FOOD: The spinach salad was delish. The teriyaki chicken wasn't amazing. The lemon bars and dessert bar was amazing.
DJ: Not amazing. Speakers were bad and he wasn't engaging with the audience. DJ's should get the party started!! No one could hear anything he announced unfortunately. He did play the music my daughter requested, so thank you for that!
OVERALL: Wonderful. I didn't have to worry. For any mama's reading this...choose this option! It will make your day with your daughter/son so much more...
