This is a very long trail. It is also a great one for both runners and bikes, partly because it has so many sections and partly because it is paved and also nice and wide. The flat parts are great for family riding or taking it easy. There are some great climbs in places too though like the gulley just south of the Smiths in Lehi. There are also several places along the trail that have pumps and tools that make it even better for bikers. Some of them have been vandalized, but most of them are in good shape. For running and walking, it's nice, because there is pretty good visibility to the trail ahead and behind and most of it has separate paths, one of which used to be marked for running and the other for bicycles and a lot of people still adhere to that separation. There are a lot of parks and parking spots along the path as well. Most of these have some kind of water fountain, which is great for being able to just carry a small bottle or water pack and fill it up as you go along.
