I go here to fish all the time at least last year before they began some sort of renovation project. As of now or June 2022, it's closed off to the public and there's been no indication of when it'll be open again. But anyway, by far one of my favorite places to catch fish easy. Great for teaching. The best times of year there are definitely spring and fall. My largest fish there was a brown trout which came out as 7.68lbs, I've caught a 4.5lb Largemouth Bass, a 5lb goldfish, a 2lb wiper, a 5lb rainbow and a half pound bluegill. There's also plenty of large bluegill in the summer months the best bait for them is worms. The best bait for trout there is bread, and check out my YouTube channel to see that rig as well as other lures I use there. I caught the bass on a Texas rigged nightcrawler because it wasn't fooled by anything else. I love throwing a cast master in the evening early spring and I've been able to catch plenty of 20+inch trout. Any questions? Leave them below. I frequent the pond enough I can...

It seems like a hidden alcove due to the lack of many people. And if you want to get in the water and take a nice swim, or take your paddle board out for a spin, this seems like a great...
Read moreAwesome mini beach. There is sand for sand castles and there is a barrier separating the shallow side from the deep side. The deep side is stocked with fish and fishing is allowed. It's a great place for a family outing. I went in the morning on a weekday and it was busy but not crowded. There are bathrooms and a fish cleaning station. There is one pavilion with picnic benches, but there is no shade by the pond itself. Be sure to bring your own shade and keep your...
